Rush Limbaugh continued his phony rant about President Obama having a messianic complex on his radio show today. Limbaugh stated that God and Obama do have something in common. Neither one of them have a birth certificate. Of course this isnt true, and here are the links to prove it.
Here is the audio: (AT LINK)
Limbaugh said, A lot of people talk about Barack Obama and his messianic complex. He does have one thing in common with God. Barack Obama has one thing in common with God. Do you know what it is? God doesnt have a birth certificate either God does not have a birth certificate neither does Obama, not that we have seen.
I cant believe that Limbaugh has dug up this old and false rumor again. If you would like to see a copy of Obamas birth certificate, you can find it here, at snopes.com In addition, whatreallyhappened .com has the birth announcements from Hawaiis two major newspapers that Barack H. Obama and his wife had a son on August 4, 1961.
Unless some Democratic operative went back in time, created a false birth certificate then ran two fake birth announcements in the newspapers, the evidence shows that Obama was in fact born in the United States. Does anyone really think that Obama would have been allowed to run for any public office without having his citizenship verified?
Barack Obamas birth certificate is readily available for view. It was released publicly by his campaign in order to put this rumor to rest. Limbaugh is lying and he knows it. By the way the only person who seems to be talking about Obamas messianic complex is Rush Limbaugh.
Rush has been desperately trying for days, with no success, to attach Evan Thomas comments about Obama on Hardball last week to the president. The only messianic complex I see in this conversation belongs to Rush Limbaugh.
Someone will have to bring a case, they'll take, then, and persuade them to carve out a third category of citizen. For now, there are only two kinds of citizen: natural born and naturalized. And a kid who is a citizen via the 14th Amendment is clearly not in the second category. It's not looking like it's in the cards this time around.
Actually, it would probably take another amendment, probably aimed at solving the anchor baby problem, which the 14th has caused. If such an amendment were properly written, it could also define citizenship for purposes of presidential eligibility. But then, you'd have to get it passed.
Rush has acknowledged your e-mail?
I am a subscriber to his site and have sent him e-mails occasionally. I have never had a reply.
Unless his parents were notable people, his birth wouldn’t be in the papers.
There are several of your group who post the contrarian position on CoLB threads, defending Barry's forgery as shown on the Internet, who would like to conflate native born and natural born, but I still contend the issue is far from settle law. You yourself tried to frame the issue as the difference between citizen ship and naturalized citizenship with the Wong Kim Ark case. You started with the supposition you claim to prove, assuming there are only two categories because no one has ever challenged the specific category as it applies only to the presidency. The U.S. Senate (June '08) didn't appear to agree with your specious assumption because they tried to give McCain a pass due to his questionable natural born status when there was no doubt he was a citizen and not a naturalized citizen.
Interesting how they are not using (material at) the Annenberg-funded FactCheck.org as a proof of the legitimacy of the (presidency of) Annenberg-launched Obama.
Do you have any links? What words would help in doing a Google search? I would be interested in learning more about this.
You might want to consider that Rush as a public figure has a lot more at stake in signing on to this than a bunch of internet nobodies. He has strong reasons not to jump on every bandwagon that gets pulled past the EIB headquarters.
His credibility is at stake and it is irreplaceable. That's why the leftwing dirtbags continually try to undermine him. It is the coin of the realm for any opinion-leader, and he is wise not to squander it on premature speculations.
It would make a very big difference if Obama failed to go through the proper steps needed to repatriate himself when he came of age. I am not a lawyer so perhaps I am not stating this properly.
Right, and the COLB is issued by the hospital, the BC is issued by the state.
I think so. Timing is everything and Rush has very good timing.
Just like the situation with a cousin of mine, who was born in Spain because my aunt and uncle were stationed at the AFB there in the late 1960's.
No. You are impressively clueless.
Rush needs to be smart enough to figure out what is real and what is fake RIGHT NOW. He screwed the pooch on the birth certificate. He zigged when he shoulda zagged.
Too many more mistakes like that on his part and he will very quickly be a washed up old worn out has-been. It’s not THAT surprising though. It’s natural for a human being to grow slow and cautious when they get old. Maybe he’s entering his twilight years a little early.
-—”OBEYME!!!!”
That’s the best parody on Obambi/Obutthole’s name I’ve seen yet.
SPREAD THAT ONE AROUND! That’ll stick!
I’ve received several Nasty-grams” from Helen Thomas when I had the “gall” to question her viewpoints. Congratulated Britt Hume once when he was given an award and he e-mailed me back a nice note.
As a totally public political figure "Barry" has little grounds for suing Rush for anything. That is not the risk at work here. The risk is the chickensh*t Chicago pimps and thugs running the WhiteHouse may just act like--well--like the pimps and thugs that they are. Rush has a high profile and needs to be cautious that he keeps his back covered.
Fox HAS to fire Shep Smith after that stupid, stupid tirade of his. I heard it all and was disgusted. “Go work at PMSNBC, Shep!” I screamed at my telly.
Um, I may be wrong, but i don’t think you can publicly accuse someone of a felony regardless of whether they’re a public figure. Rush accused Barry of felony document fraud.
No, there were birth announcements in papers and sometimes still there today, although sometimes you have to pay for them.
However those birth announcements can be easily faked, just like a COLB can be easily faked.
Walter Williams sent me a note once in reply.
But...I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
