Please don't make that presumption. Many claimed to be Vietnam Veterans who were phonies that were part of the anti-war crowd looney lefties. It is happening again now. The book Stolen Valor provides documentation that many that claimed to be Vietnam Veterans supporting the left never served in the military at all or never served in Vietnam. You can also do a search on Winter Soldier for more about the phonies that were used for political purposes. The left did not just recently become devious.

We’ve got some pacifist nurses here in Alabama who carry a glass vial of deer urine (or from a gland, I forget) in their purses.
When they leave a night shift and have to walk to the edge of the hospital parking lot, they hold the vial in one hand.
Dropping the vial breaks the glass and emits an aroma several times more offensive than ou de skunk, detering most criminals and providing a physical erection barrier to rapists.
These vials are sold at most hunting stores. Ladies, if you can’t or won’t pack heat, at least carry the glass vial.
If you will carry heat, all the better. There are in-between options as well for you ladies such as pepper spray, bean-bag guns, flare pistols, ink bombs, stun grenades, and stun guns.
So while a firearm is preferred, there is still no reason to be completely defenseless simply because someone doesn’t like weapons.
A glass vial of offensive scent is something even a pacifist can ethically carry.
Don’t be a defenseless victim!
Break your vanity mirror inside your purse to use the glass to cut an attacker in an emergency.
Walk with a large dog whenever possible. Better yet, with a large, armed man.
Buy or make your own bulletproof purse or backpack (bulletproofme.com and eBay sell inexpensive used body armor panels that can easily be sewn into purses, coats, briefcases, and backpacks to give you a shield).
Do something! Pick one or more options above, from firearms to ballistic panels to glass vials of offensive scent.
