Door slams on Hawaiian hospital records

A door has been slammed on the hunt for confirmation of President Obama's birth in Hawaiian hospital records, with officials at two prominent Honolulu facilities either declining to return WND telephone calls or refusing to comment.

Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children and Queen's Medical Centerboth have been cited – by various sources including Obama's half-sister – as the birth place in 1961 of Barack Obama.

But officials at Kapiolani today declined to return any of at least four WND messages requesting a comment on what perhaps would be the facility's most significant claim to fame, and officials at Queen's said in a prepared statement, "Due to patient privacy laws we cannot respond to your inquiries."

They said that statement could be attributed only to a hospital "spokesperson."

"My guess is that the records are long gone"

We needed to get some records from our first daughter's birth. The hospital still had our daughter's records, but my wife's records were destroyed.

It was explained to us (and this is from memory) that the minor's records must be kept until the minor is eighteen, then the "clock" starts to run. The mother's records would be kept for a minimum of ten years, although some hospitals keep them longer. It's really just a function of economics. In our case it was 15 years.

That's how I know HIPAA still applied as we had to sign HIPAA documents to get the records.

I am a strong "Birther", so don't take this wrong, but unless I am missing something here, this thread basically changes nothing and adds no substance to our research.

Thanks WND!!! I could pick up a phone tomorrow and ask the Little Rock Gazette to tell me how Hillary was involved in land grab deals...and when they refused to answer, I could report on that??????

Yes. Very deceitful and intentionally misleading headline. Hospitals aren’t just going to turn private records over to anybody who waltzes in.

“Y’know, it might just be in the best interests of Israel to sic their inelligence service on those records. If the Mosaad had positive proof that Zero was born in Kenya they just might get those helicopters he gave to Egypt.”

That is without a doubt the best idea I have heard yet.

I think something like that will finally happen. Other countries have excellent intelligence and he’s really starting to make some people mad. Patience.

Question:

Can the FOIA not be applied in this case especially given the Constitutional implications? Or has Obama effectively closed that possibility with his hired firms of attorneys?

I always liked Liddy.

His type are always there, and some of them can do amazing things.

Obozo must be reluctant to have any of the Spec Op types from Afghan and Iraq duty to be on U.S. soil.

"Can the FOIA not be applied in this case especially given the Constitutional implications?"

Short answer, no. FOIA is for government generated records only. The federal, and probably Hawaiian state law clearly protects the patients immutable right to privacy.

Where are all the people who witnessed this birth?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I am 62 and there are still **plenty** of people alive who visited my mom and me in the hospital, brought over meals to the family, visited me as a newborn in our home, and attended the Christening.

Where are all these people? Are the Dunhams completely friendless, born in a vacuum themselves by immaculate conception, and neighbor-less as well?

They are like the comedy movie , “Coneheads”.

The only time 0bama's half sister ever comes up is this subject of his BC. I don't think I have ever seen a picture of her. Is his sister some kind of hideous monster kept in a dungeon somewhere? Gitmo maybe?

Apart from Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright all of 0bambi's old friends and family must either be ashamed or afraid of him and are in hiding.

Maybe we’re going about this all wrong. Maybe we should be looking for his birth certificate in Kenya.

Corsi tried that, and was lucky to get out of Kenya with his head still attached to his body.
