1709 was an interesting year.
Back then, USA didn't even exist.
Scandinavia of those days, naturally, was dark and gloomy.
We drank too much Absolut and suicide was frequent.
Furthermore, we all believed in Socialism.
That pretty much explains the fact that today two of the world's 20 richest men are Swedes (no, Sweden doesn't have oil).
But let's forget about Forbes and study Peter the Great instead.
300 years ago, Peter the Great burned Russian soil in panic.
300 years ago, in 1709, Sweden was "defeated" at Poltava.
300 years ago, Sweden survived a major North European conflict while the Russians decided to remain backwards.
80 years later, Sweden was victorious at Svensksund.

So, it is not about how many Somalis have become perfect citizens in the US. The most they are doing in the Twin Cities is refusing people with dogs and alcohol from getting inside cabs. In your country ...well, let's say it goes FAR beyond cab drivers acting the fool.
I am glad you are proud of your country, but the massive Islamic immigration (coupled with the Islamic nations they are stemming from ...not all are 'equal'), coupled with the population of your country, means that when your children are your age there will probably not be much to be proud of.
The US may or may not be standing straight then, but even if it is crippled it will not be due to Somalis in Minnesota.

In America, illegal immigrants have exceedingly high birth rates compared to American citizens. This is particularly troubling to me, as the demographics of a nation are its destiny.
- The summers are wonderful, the winters are chilly.
On the other hand, a REAL, white, Swedish winter, especially in a small Swedish “Astrid Lindgren (mother of Pippi Longstocking)” town like Visby, Hjo or Vadstena definitely is among the most wonderful things one could experience during Christmas time.
I'm not overly happy with our politicians, but we are moving in the right direction. For instance, Sweden has lowered income taxes a lot recently.

Yes, I do.
Not so much because we drive costly Volvos, SAABs and Audis and can afford things like yachts and travelling the world each year, but because the people living here, with few exceptions, are very intelligent and also exceptionally friendly.
When I go to work, I meet with workmates that wish to perform well and also understand that the success of their individual lives have very much to do with how the company they work for (as well as Sweden as a whole) performs.
In France and Italy people go on strikes.
Work isn't everything, but everything could be ruined by people who don't wish to understand how important true work ethics are.
Sweden, as well as other Nordic countries like Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland (despite Iceland's present crises) are today very well run nations, devoted to Capitalism.
Thanks to our success in the area of business, we today constitute the 9th largest economy on Earth if viewed as a whole.

- Women originating from countries outside of Sweden give birth to more children than native Swedes.
However, it’s not like the typical Muslim woman living in Sweden has 5-6 children.
