They were not my words, but Obama referring to the Iraq war.
I wondered if he would reuse them today.
jeah..can’t wait.
After a busy, long day, I’m catching up with my reading. I too refuse to listen to this man. I listen with FR or by sound bites from a credible news source. For some reason I need to be with people who confirm my feelings. So many around me are BO bots.
See post 443. That is how I handle BO.
Let’s see what your dad has to say after the 2010 election.
At least Clinton had minimal experience in the military (ROTC) and learned of some of its values and traditions there. Obama never served, never was in ROTC, never a first responder, or even handled a firearm in his life.
The Russians and Chinese will NEVER give up their nuclear stockpiles (In fact they are increasing them). Obama, give it up.
It was a horrible mistake to not include a woman who was alive then and she and her sister were kept in the UK at their parent’s urging.
Queen Elizabeth probably was behind the whole ‘mixup’, as I bet she didn’t want to listen to ANOTHER HolyO speech that he would probably send her for her IPOD!!!
What a maroon! [*sigh*]
Considering women are murdered for not wearing hijab, it seems odd to demand more women wear it.
At least he wasn’t aiding and abetting the enemy, which Odimwit does on a daily basis.
Amen
You said it so well.
We honor them all for doing their job so well, and moving forward with their lives asking for nothing but an opportunity to participate in the American way of life.
Too bag Reagan isnt there to give another speech and also (modestly) mention the battles he fought in during WWII.
What where those again? I havent been able to find any info about Reagans combat experience. He was so modest though, Im sure someone knows...
Hey! A whack job, I mean Troll! We don’t see to many of you here!!!
This is a day of commemoration for adults, why don’t you go outside and play with the kids.

Compare to Reagan quoting Churchill in "A Time for Choosing" in 1964:
Winston Churchill said, "The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we're spirits -- not animals." And he said, "There's something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty."
He has no frame of reference of American History except from the left. He knows nothing about the men and women who are the heart and soul of this country.
I just recently watched the replay of the speech on C-SPAN. My thoughts were exactly yours.
"His speech sucked.
It was his worst speech ever. Absolutely awful. Despite the obvious poor speech, Chrissy the sissy got a thrill up his leg, and Evan Thomas compared Obama to God. These media people are completely delusional.
I wasn’t aware that the commies assisted at Normandy.
Zero is a disgrace and for the second time in my adult life, I’m ashamed to be an American.
The first time was during the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina flooding.
