He invokes his grandmother? (Is that the same grandmother he threw under the bus in his speech on race?)
MY GRANDMOTHER?!!!!
the Bamster never ceazes to floor me!
Why is Lyndon Johnson being brought up???
“people of all faiths, of no faith”
He obviously doesn’t know the old truism “there are no atheists in foxholes”.
TOTUS must have had too much French Wine last night.
He’s rambling . . . .
I’m awaiting the explanation for the utter classless act of spitting in the face of our French hosts.
Will the media even bother to give us one. Or do we just go with the usual third world explanation that like the UK, the French are colonialists.
Obama is .....not representing Americans today. (self-edit)
Apologies to all of France for our classless representative refusing the gracious hosts.
TOTUS has jet lag.
Holy crap- this is yet ANOTHER campaign speech. He’s citing the workers in different states who built the equipment...which normally wouldn’t be odd- but from THIS man..
“...the shared prosperity...”
shared prosperity...
this is the most bizzare speech.
What is this? A boring history lecture? It’s like he, or his writer, spent a few nights reading about D Day and WW2 and are trying to cram all the facts they learned, relevant and irrelevant, into this speech.
Right, Obama brings in his granny while Queen Elizabeth is not invited... Maybe he was afraid she would upstage his granny.
BO’s really not connected to American history or the fight for freedom.
Obama quoting Lyndon Johnson now. Go figure. Next he’ll be quoting Kofi Annan. LOL!
“Human destiny is not determined by forces beyond our control.”
There’s that arrogance creeping in again....
WTF???
‘the sum choices of our decisions?”
We all had grandmothers who lived during WW2, so what?
LOL
I bet he and Michelle are extremely uncomfortable after Sarkozy's speech. The others were OK, too. He is on shaky ground here.
