Abortion's time of reckoning - ALAN KEYES
WorldNetDaily ^ | June 5, 2009 | Alan Keyes

Of George Tiller's soul, God is now the judge; though I have no doubt that from a human perspective his enthusiastic practice of child murder for profit will forever deserve our unequivocal condemnation. This of course implies no approval of the apparently deranged act that took his life. The aim of all authentic pro-life people is to restore respect for innocent human life. We rightly condemn and lament an action that harms the good we seek to achieve.

Speak out Brother Allen...

“...our government ever more defiantly abandons the obligation of accountability for the unalienable right to life, though it is foremost among the prerequisites of its legitimacy. “

Dang, you’d think I’d know how to spell his name by now.

Maddow laments how 24 states have a waiting period by saying women have to go to the clinic twice, they have to take off work twice to get an abortion.

The only thing Maddow should lament is being involved in a death-centered lifestyle that God saw fit to call an abomnination.

She wants all 45 million women who have had legal abortions to come out and let everyone know what a normal procedure it is.

Just more of the attempt to cover up for the guilt of killing babies, your own and others. It's similar to the alcoholic that pushes drinks on everyone in the room so that he's not the only one drunk, and it's normal to be so.

The abortion issue is 99.99% about trying to cover the guilt of those that have had abortions, and only tangentially about keeping the ability to "take care of" an irresponsible decision.

A few years back I met him at one of my son’s Christian school suppers. My son has 2 boys enrolled in the school. He was the speaker and talked of Christian Education. It is a very small school. He is a modest and humble man...I enjoyed meeting him..He is not like he comes across sometimes on TV

“He is a modest and humble man.” Yes, he is, but that is not the image the Republican powers that be nor the enemedia has chosen to fabricate for Alan Keyes. They hate honest men.

Okay. I get it. Sorry. You were talking about Obama. Memo to self: *Read twice, post once*

Don't feel bad I thought he was talking about Dr. Keyes also.

I honestly think he would make a great president. And I have great respect for his mind. He is easily caricatured, however, by the slimey media which makes him an unlikely candidate. If we were to limit campaigns to the dissemination of the candidates policy positions and do away with all the lights, cameras and action, Keyes would be the winner hands-down.

We met Dr. Keyes when he spoke in Tulsa in late 1991. We happened to be sitting just a row behind where he sat, when he arrived with our Bishop, and he was very polite and pleasant mannered. And then gave a heckofa speech, every sentence perfectly diagrammed, with only the Bishop’s Bible for “notes.”

Only quibble I have is with the title.

Instead of "Abortion's time of reckoning", it should be "America's time of reckoning".

The abortion issue is 99.99% about trying to cover the guilt of those that have had abortions,

The remedy would be to tell people that have had abortions that they can absolve themselves as guilt for it if they work to prevent others from following in their footsteps. Trying to cover up one's guilt by encouraging others to get stuck in it won't work. It might ameliorate the pain for a little while, but the pain will always come back. Destroying the guilt by acknowledging the wrong of one's past actions and going beyond it will work, and it's the only approach that will.

One of Satan’s most successful lies is telling someone that whatever sin they committed, there is no way God can forgive that...

And sadly, see the quote in post 2 from obozo. He is condemning himself.

He was/is a GREAT candidate, party and media black-out were the hugest issue. There isn’t anyone running who was/is more suited for the Presidency, with more experience, discernment and foresight than Dr Keyes. He has a better handle on the foreign and military issues than most. He has a stronger backbone to stand-up for and voice what is TRUTH and RIGHT, as you have just admitted here. DC would not and could not turn this man from his principles or cripple his character as it has done to all who are currently there, in various degrees. Dr Keyes is more than eloquence. He needed people to stand behind him, but the R party tried to silence Keyes and drove fear into the hearts of all so they stupidly voted for a PROCHOICE candidate running a PROLIFE ticket! SCRUPLES?
