What bugs me is not that the bus is still in service, but Tim McLean's murderer is in a mental institution and will never pay for the killing because of an idiot Judge who decided to play psychiatrist instead of upholding the law. Vince Li should have been judged guilty of murder by reason of insanity and locked up forever.

Just think, he could be let out in a couple of years, hop on another Greyhound bus and do it again!

Oh, get over yourself. Black humor and sarcasm is a normal human way of dealing with horror (the beheading) and ridiculousness (the desire of the family to commandeer the bus and make it a shrine).

Good thing you don't run with the EMT squad that I recently joined. We have to clean up after incidents like what happened on the bus. If you don't deal with it with black humor you'll completely lose your mind.

It doesn't mean it's any less horrible, or any less of a crime, or that it wasn't a tragedy.

No and the World Trade centers were not rebuilt because of all the people that died at that site. I know I am not alone in feeling that the most appropriate response to the terrorist bastards that destroyed those buildings would have been to rebuild.
