Let's see, two dressed left, two dressed right, and one indeterminate.....
Of something.
Just went and tried to buy a pair online. Out of my size. Oh well.
Imagine when (not if) sand gets in the toes.... you’d have hamburger before long.
LOL. Now you will want a pair.
“Go to the link. It tells you.”
Yes. I saw machine washable. I also saw that they were water-proof. Waterproof little toe pockets that will hold moisture and grossness after you wash them.
Maybe it’s just because I’m in the SE Texas area. Things start to mold/mildew very quickly here. I can’t even leave a loaf of bread on the counter.
There now. I fixed it for you. lol..
Let’s introduce them to posts #13 and #20 and we’ll soon find out.
I bought mine at the suggestion of my doctor. Besides, I absolutely HATE flip flops.
That would mean that I would hate those “shoes” as well.
I love these shoes. I'm getting a pair of red ones. I already wear toe socks around the house, but with these shoes I can wear them outside. lol..
Not sure how practical they are, but I applaud the designer for “thinking outside the box”.
I worked for awhile at a mine site in Indonesia. The local hires would work for awhile and quit, and walk back to their local villages over the rocky mountain passes. Just off the mine property there was a pile of hard hats and boots.
I couldn’t imagine walking on those rocky trails bare foot. Just as they couldn’t imagine having to wear boots all day long!
Those guys are Pole-ish.
You owe me a keyboard!!! ;-)
First, I'm recollecting this from memory, so the "100 miles a day" wasn't meant as a challenge to a running record.
Second, you're citing a x distance in y amount of time. I didn't say these cats are the fastest runners on Earth. Rather, that they are known for running long distances with such frequency it's almost hard to believe (even though it's completely fact).
Third...Google is your friend: tarahumaras running
If those toes aren’t reinforced, they’re dangerous to your health.
He bought them locally here in Gainesville (FL). He bought the black ones, which is why I joke with him and call them “Gorilla feet”.
My son has a pair in red/black and they are just waaaay too cool (and, he says, comfortable)
