So, you think that because one poster on FR comments that a diabetic supreme court nominee might not live to a ripe old age that all 350,000 of us are insensitive right-wing loons?
Got news for you pal. The owner of Free Republic (namely me) is diabetic and I've already lost one leg due to this despicable disease and the other leg looks like it's ready to fall off any day now. My sister died of complications brought on by juvenile diabetes at the tender age 43. I've out-lived her in years, but I don't think I'll be signing on to any life term judgeships. And I sure as hell wouldn't wish this disease on anyone else.
Hey, what can I say. My political enemies make fun of the one-legged old gimp every day of the week. Good thing I'm not as sensitive as you about such nonsensical non-issues.
And if it's impossible for a minority to be racist, then it's impossible for a diabetic to be insensitive. /sarc

Amen! I’ve been trying to explain this exact same thing to people for years. Fox is NOT conservative. Just because MSNBC is soo liberal doesn’t make Fox conservative. Shepard Smith is a lib tool.
O’Reilly has to find something to be “Fair and Balance” to justify his rant, so the nearest thing which reflects the opposite was Free Republic which he tries to equate that FR is as dark on the right, as KOS is as dark on the left!
O’Reilly is not kidding any one he is always looking ahead hoping by his demeanor he will survive air waves censorship.
O’Reilly most of the time never comes right out and says what he truly feels he uses the gutless wonder approach.
There is no such thing as Fair and Balance when one is wrestling against principalities those who promote the Prince of Darkness agenda.
Looking for good in fallen man or a people is one thing.
But one must discern from one who is fallen over those who have an outright agenda to destroy you.
Just like there are degrees of glory why would there not be degrees of darkness!
In the stages of rebellion it is one thing to strike back but when one wants to annihilate you and act upon it, in my opinion they are no longer in the mode of being redeemable.
At this point one better wakes up and realized they are doom if they don’t get their priorities in order.
But that has nothing to do with my belief that Barry picked a light weight for the court.

O’Reilly suffers from “small-man’s” complex despite his height. His decision to leave radio was, in my opinion, prompted by his ego realizing that he would never increase his listener base and perhaps lose listeners.
He is a disgustingly pathetic interviewer, rarely allowing a guest to complete a sentence in response to his question.
I confess I rarely watch his program, having long ago recognized his lack of interview preparation, lack of topical/factual information and exhibition of an ego that distorts logical thought/debate by either personalizing a topic like a third grade child or denigrating thoughtful commentary in an effort to illustrate his “open mind”.
He is a self-promoting shill.....nothing more.

It might interest Mr. O’Reilly to learn how many talk-show hosts and other media types check Free Republic daily for breaking news, updates, tidbits and general current events.
He has gone out of his way to give a distorted view of what FR is and should be ashamed of himself.

I have no respect for O’Reilly. Everything on his show is about him. On one hand he plays conservative but in the next minute he’ll sell out to make himself look like he’s not ideological. I can’t stand watching his show anymore because he’s so full of it.
