Hey General!
What did the Dem’s do following their losses in the 2004 election?
They went out and found the guy with MOST LIBERAL VOTING RECORD IN THE U.S. SENATE!
Is THAT your idea of “moving to the center to gain votes”?

In the middle of the road all you get is run over!
You proved that by abandoning the most “centrist” candidate Republicans have ever nominated!

Well, either Powell supported Obama because they’re both black, which means he’s a racist, or supported him because he supports his policies, which means he’s not a Republican.

Which is it, Colin?

“Fires back”? Really?

I’d say he “duds back.”

Is this the best Powell can come up with? He is on the Republican party’s membership committee???? Oh yes, this carries a lot of weight. < /sarcasm>

I used to think quite highly of Powell, but the more he opens his mouth, the more disgusted I become.

Message to Tom Ridge: North Korea just made a successful test of its newest nuke. Do you feel safer today with Obama’s strong condemnation - or would you perhaps like to have Dick Cheney back in the VP spot? C’mon now, be honest!

What a bunch of ego-inflated blowhards.

Powell’s quite the genius...

He endorses the top Democrat in the Democratic party and then demands that he’s more Republican than the Republicans who challenge him...

Democrats already have a party. Go make it official and join them.

Rinos have to understand we don't want them in any position of power in the party any more. Their days are over,we are a conservative party from now on.

I really wish someone would tell him to shut the he**-up.

Powell, is playing right into the commies hand, divide and conquer. Probably, he knows that is the effect, after all, he endorsed Obama..

Powell’s endorsement of Obama over the RINO McCain last fall is not the action of a Republican. He has left the building and is stooging for the DNC.

Republican credentials? Like what?

All he wants is the destruction of conservatism. The whole contry should be based on the Detroit/New Orleans model according to liberals like Powell.

“Rush will not get his wish and Mr. Cheney was misinformed – I am still a Republican,” Powell said in a much-anticipated interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation” two weeks after Cheney suggested on the same show that the retired general had left the party by endorsing Barack Obama last fall.

I don't recognize you as one, Mr. Powell.

Powell says the GOP must move away from the right. In 2008, the GOP did just that, running McCainiac.

Did Powell support the “moderate” GOP candidate he is now lecturing us that we must have?

No, he voted for an ultra-leftist.

Powell needs to be swept out with the rest of the garbage. He has as much credibility as Specter the Defecter.

The Media, including Fox Radio, cannot understand that “Democrat-Light” is not an option for Republicans if they wish to remain the Constitution Defending Bulwark of Political Parties.

I’m tired of the Powell-types thinking that THEY have the right to decide where Republicans go and that Staunch Conservatives are somehow “extremists” who should sit down and shut up.

If Chairman Steele doesn’t get busy setting up five or eight agenda points that are set in stone and have Republicans in Congress sign on the dotted line to be considered a Republican, the TEA/Independent Party will become the dominant Constitution Defending Traditional Conservative Party.

Has Powell ever made a statement against a Democrat, criticizing the Dem for being too Leftist?

I agree General. In looking back at the campaign, you’re correct, the multi-racial, closet homo, muslim, anti-American, fascist was clearly the best candidate to lead,...to the total destruction of capitalism, freedom, liberty, opportunity and national defense.
