Yes, it's intent that defines whether it's torture...no wait, it's what the prosecutor believes is the intent, because, you know, anyone who doesn't know it's torture is deluded, even though the facts and case law (especially from his own Justice Department) supports the opposite.

So true. I blame public education. Indoctrination is so much easier than teaching reason and logic, plus the latter doesn't fit their "feeling" based politics. They use weaseling rather than reasoning.
Probably not ;-) While I dropped watching H&C a while ago, I've noticed lately that H is better without C. Although Sean still 'hobbyhorses' which gets old real quick.

Exactly. The media made a big thing of the 'timing' and the VP speaking out, "so early", "trying to save his legacy" (which Liz also addressed on M.Joe and slayed that dragon well).... If it were the media that were targetted for prosecution, they'd be yelling like stuck pigs.
What is the most 'unique' about this is not that Cheney is speaking out, but the fact that the new administration is targeting the old one in a manner (and they would if they could) of the French Revolution. And when they now have the power to actually bring about what their 'hope and change' crowd has been clamouring about for years, it is not 'unique' or unusual that a reasoned fellow like Cheney, takes them seriously.

I’m not a 24/7 with Rush....what did he say about Liz Cheney??? It HAS to be positive!! She is GREAT!!
Pretty sure if you click on that link above, (to Rush's site) you will see the transcripts of the segment on Liz. [if not just go to his site and you'll see Liz's picture and click on that link.] Basically Rush gave her high praise for being able to shut the liberals down on their own shows and explains how she does it.
Liz’s dad has a nice brass set. No one else comes to mind.
