Rush is going over about 4 or 5 interviews with Liz. She’s cleaning the board on CNN, Today, M.Joe. lol. Quite a tribute and much of what we’ve been discussing (and admiring about her) this morning.
AMEN!! Liz has GRAVITAS!!! She LISTENS to EVERY WORD people say, and doesn’t let them get away with ANYTHING!!! I think she may run for something soon......Jeb Bush for President...Liz for VP....BUSH/CHENEY....it would make the left EXPLODE!! (Not sure I want Jeb, but I DO want Liz!)

Idiot Chrissy Matthews always says the name Cheney as CHEEEENY, instead of CHAINY, so at the end they asked Liz how she pronounces her last name...she said CHAINY! Take that SPITTIN CHRISSY!
I saw that ‘re: Chrissy’. I was also surprised and pleased that they kept her at the table for the rest of the show. That was a first. I’m guessing they got some great feedback on her first appearance last week, where she simply filleted Eugene Robinson.
I’d like to see her being more regular. All the others are way Left.... so far Left that they make David Gregory look “objective” by comparison. He’s not of course.
If you listened to Rush (1st hour early) Liz was on the Today show with Lawrence O’Donnell, who is a regular on M. Joe, and it sounded like she actually shut him up! When he’s on I usually go to Fox and Friends.
I missed her on the TODAY show with that LIAR! Lawrence O’Donnell! he called Dick Cheney a LIAR yesterday....hope Liz nailed him.....she always does tho!!
NBC is burning off the rest of Deutsch’s contract by allowing him to annoy unsuspecting viewers on Morning Joe.

Perhaps not as much of a KO that I implied but she still got in a lot of licks. Read the transcripts, because they talk over each other on the video.
I liked the point where Larry suggests that they should have waterboarded 500 detainees with the idea that perhaps then 75 of them wouldn't have returned to combat when released... and of course this just walks into Liz's trap where she points out how _little_ waterboarding _was_ used - only 3 times (vs. the big lie of the last 7 years that it was rampant) And then takes a shot at him for 'advocating' more waterboarding :-)
He also walked into the 'legal trap' where she then gets to explain how AG Holder actually validates the Cheney doctrine of what is torture and what isn't. If you can find that video where two Republican congressmen do a tag team on Eric H. and get him to acknowledge the legality of waterboarding not being torture, it's very funny in a way. They bring up the fact that we do waterboarding on our own guys in training and this forces Holder to say that it's the _intent_ that is operative, and they follow with 'well the intent at Gitmo was to get info not to harm' and the ballgame was over at that point and QED, waterboarding is then not 'torture'.
What I find interesting was the mental 'judo' that allowed that. 'Hate Crimes' from the libs view are all about 'intent' of the perpetrator (despite that it the act that violates the right of a citizen (not an enemy combatant, btw) - and despite that from a lib point of view, it is the 'feelings' of the victim that are more important [eg. sexual harrassment] rather than the actual harm, but I digress ;-). So they used that in order to 'extract' the definition of 'torture' and Holder was hoisted upon his own petard on that one, and more importantly here, so was O'Donnell :-)

True. When the guests are good, Morning Joe can be a good show but if you want to know the main thrust of the 'Joe and Mika show' go here - 4:28 - 6:30 into the video :-)
I'm afraid you're right. I think Cheney's request was already turned down or is in the red tape of FOIA.

I find it interesting here of how the “induced” aspect is brought out because that could have some very real consequences. Think: Clinton’s comments about Rush after the OK. bombing.... and frankly, Holder’s position seems to be (although he’s walking in circles a bit) that Rush or say (sigh) Rev. Wright, just an an opposing example, might not be culpable.
