There's no 'middle ground' on terrorism. Playing politics with terrorism is a road to another attack.

Liz is a chip off the ole block. She’s great!!
LOL.......O sent Beckel out to bloviate and show faux outrage.
Bush has been slamed and slaughtered by libtard MSM over and over and he became a scarecrow/tool used by the left and by OBAMAN....
I think it’s maybe too late for BUSH to defend his policy.
It should have been done at least 2 years ago!
Now CHENEY is free and he can speak as he wants to
I don’t blame them for staying out of this fight.
I do blame them for not communicating effectively for eight years while the Democrats taught lies to the American people.
>>>>
Only now he’s also having to fight the terrorist in the WH too. <<<<<
And the MSM of course.
And Pelosi and her crowd.
Cheney has a VERY serious agenda to keep protecting America.
He must have a damned good reason for it.
I didn't watch it myself, but I'd bet it went somewhere along the lines of "Blah, blah, blah, Bush's fault". I've got better things to do with my time than watch that.
Cheney's speech was well worth the time commitment, though. He's a real patriot.
HAHAHAHA
If Bush didn't defend himself while in office, why would he start now?
She is great. Which is why the recent MSM attacks on her that try to link her to both Bristol Palin and Megan McCain are so insulting. Liz is a very accomplished attorney and public servant in her own right and quite capable of taking the fight to the Dems intellectually and ideologically.
I second that.
As President Cheney said today, in a significant and wonderful speech, we have not had another 9/11 due to the aggressive action taken against the terrorists by the Bush Administration.
But since being elected, Obama has significantly weakened our security and he has emboldened the terrorists.
Obama is so naive, or corrupt, that he proposed to release the Gitmo terrorists, some right into the U.S. population. Many of our soldiers were killed or wounded capturing the Gitmo terrorists, but Obama did not care if more of our soldiers were killed or wounded recapturing the same enemies.
Now, after being pressured by public opinion and his own Socialists in Congress, it looks like Obama plans to put the Gitmo terrorists in U.S. prisons.
Obama is still criticizing the Bush Administration for its success in preventing another 9/11. Today Obama even said that Bush left a mess behind. Would Obama be happier if Bush had just shot all the Gitmo terrorists? (I would have approved.)
Obama should be conducting the war on terror in the same manner as Bush. Obamas failure to do this will lead to more 9/11s and the complete destruction of our economy and our freedom. Just one EMP bomb detonated by the terrorists over the U.S. might be sufficient. What will Obama tell us then? That we deserved it due to our bad treatment of the Islamists?
I saw that post and sat here with a smile reading it. I am totally impressed with Liz Cheney as she holds her own against any debater.
She is probably one of the smartest women I have heard in a long time when she is interviewed.
I have noticed. I never really thought that much about her until I started noticing her on TV and then reading what she was saying. Been a long time since I have been this impressed with her demeanor and her knowledge.
Dick and Lynn Cheney have to be so proud of their daughter for carrying on the family tradition of telling it like it is and not being afraid to speak out.
“How long before we see Mrs. Obamas response?”
Oh, you must’ve missed it:
“I got me some new shoes, so watch it, sucka!!”
“LOL.......O sent Beckel out to bloviate and show faux outrage.”
Would’ve loved to see that! I heard One-State Bob nearly burst a vein.
In the pic at #24, Odumbo’s head position tells me he’s probably looking with great fear and trepidation over at Cheney who appears to be saying nonverbally, “This is FAR from over, you socialistic, pencil-necked punk.”
The VP knows... and Odumbo knows he knows.
As for Bush’s non-response — he’s doing what Clinton and Carter seem completely unable to do — he’s keeping quiet like good retired Chief Executives do. He doesn’t need to say a thing. With Cheney as a supremely capable point man, it’s handled.
She is exactly right.
That was my take on it too. He’s a hired mouth, and doesn’t even always believe what he himself is regurgitating.
What a worthless blob of human flesh.
President Bush is writing a book about all the decisions and reasons he made those decisions, he had to make while in office. It will be out this fall.
