Washington has never seen anything like Speaker Pelosi's ever-shifting tales of what she'd been told. Even Nixon didn't have this much trouble explaining what he knew and when he knew it.......if Pelosi knew waterboarding -- which she now sanctimoniously describes as illegal "torture" -- was on the CIA's list of Gitmo practices, why didn't she raise a ruckus at the time? ...... she says, she focused on "chang[ing] the leadership in Congress and the White House. That was my job." But now she seems to want anyone in the Bush admin who even uttered the word locked up. CIA Director Panetta said: "It is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress......CIA officers briefed truthfully on 'the enhanced techniques that had been employed.' "

ITEM On Sept. 4, 2002, less than a year after 9/11, the CIA briefed Rep. Porter Goss, then House Intel Committee chair, and Mrs. Pelosi, then the committee’s ranking Democrat, on EITs including water boarding. The first members of Congress to be informed.
ITEM George J. Tenet was appointed CIA director Aug 1997 (served during 9/11 to 2004).
ITEM Tenet was appointed by Pres Clinton and approved by Congress.
ITEM Pelosi is now saying that George Tenet lied to her, or ordered his congressional briefers, to lie to Nancy.
In November 2006, the stock market was approaching a record high, the economy was looking very strong, unemployment was at 4.5 percent, gasoline averaged $2.19 per gallon and public approval of Congress was higher than that of the president.
In January 2007, the democRats took control of both houses of Congress. Since then, both the economy and stock markets have crashed, unemployment has doubled, gasoline went up above $4.00 per gallon, and only came down when the rest of the economy tanked. Public approval of Congress is not only below the lowest public approval rating that president Bush ever received, but has sunk to an all-time low and has stayed there for almost two years.
Take a lesson from the democRats. Demonize Pelosi and run against her in every Congressional district in the country. Continually remind voters that the economy started to go to hell immediately AFTER the democRats seized control of Congress in the November 2006 elections.
Put Polosi's picture in every campaign ad.
It is time to change Congress. Throw the moonbats out!

Obama campaigned on ordering up a strong Civilian National Security Force.
Obama's COS Rahm Emanuel knows how to organize that.
Rahm's a dual citizen who volunteered for Sar'el, which is a three week program in which civilians "assist" the Israeli Defense Forces.
Look for Obama praising such a program then trying to implement it in the US.
We no longer have smoke-filled rooms that pick our party candidates but when a politician in a highly visible public office becomes an embarrassment to the president or otherwise a liability, the “machine” can easily be cranked up to perform a post-election abortion. Zero and crew desperately want to be perceived as competent and Miss Nancy isn’t. She has to go to make way for a staid, surface-conservative who can help improve the Dem image before 2010.
Pelosi made it clear from day one that she wasn’t going to share power with Obama, and that she was going to dictate policy. She’s going down. People around here may not like Obama for good reason, but he’s much better than her.
I remember she sort of warned him that she was in charge.
I think Obama realizes she has exhausted her usefulness and is a liability. She’s going to be replaced.

If Pelosi’s lying, it shows that she and quite a few dems, are big f**king liars about the ‘evil’, human rights opposing CIA.
