CIA Director Leon Panetta just sent a stern message to his employees defending the agency against Speaker Nancy Pelosi's criticisms.
His message: We didn't mislead Congress; stay focused on your job.
Panetta's note was sent to reporters via the CIA press office. Here's the key graph:
"Let me be clear: It is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress. That is against our laws and our values. As the Agency indicated previously in response to Congressional inquiries, our contemporaneous records from September 2002 indicate that CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing “the enhanced techniques that had been employed.” Ultimately, it is up to Congress to evaluate all the evidence and reach its own conclusions about what happened."

I have long thought that Nancy Pelosi is one of the most IQ challenged individuals to ever race congress. She proves it to me more and more every day. I think that she believes that masses are as ignornant as she is.

I heard yesterday that Hoyer is Rahn's , and by association, O'Bama's man.
As much I love to see Pelosi twist in the wind, Hoyer is going to be at least as bad.
If Panetta had not backed the CIA, he would be a terrible failure as its Director, and he knows it.

Thanks for the ping. Hannity’s interview with Gingrich just aired in my time zone. Newt didn’t pull any punches. He wants to see a privileged resolution for an immediate House investigation, and Pelosi to step aside during the proceedings.
I think that Obama is trying to remove Pelosi. Earlier in the week she introduced him and he spoke about something. When he was finished and began to walk away, Nancy raised her hand and went to the mic and started talking about what a great leader he was and what great leadership he’s shown so far. The entire exchange was very odd and came across as a kiss-up.
Obama wants her out - the question is why? She’s been acting as if she were the President since he was elected. Perhaps he wanted to remind her who was in charge.

Even this thread shows the issue, we argue about what Nancy said when and if she listened or slept during the briefing instead of the real treasonous activities of the Left.
We have dug ourselves a real confidence hole, the country does not believe in itself much anymore. Not sure we can survive the loss of confidence, hope I am wrong.
