Between this and the “Drill here, drill now”, I just might forgive this guy for his couch act.

I’m not sure if I’d want NEWT as a friend.
I’m not sure if I want to go hunting with Dick Cheney.
In truth, I have many, many friends and I don’t ever go hunting, but I’d rather have these two guys in office in Washington than what we have.
What a shame, the ONLY two Republicans who speak to truth and fact today...are not in office.

If she were correct about the CIA lying to her (which she is not), then a Special Prosecutor needs to be named to investigate the CIA lying to congress. I suspect she will fight any inquiry of her charges for obvious reasons.

Gingrich is spot on.

However, even before being placed under oath and for national security reasons, she needs to immediately resign. There are no other reasonable options.

Former Republican Speaker Newt Gingrich is speaking out against Pelosi on this issue calling her a liar. Former Dem. Sen. Bob Graham is speaking up for Pelosi on this issue saying that the CIA’s record keeping leaves room for doubt.

If the Congress handles it, the Dems and the DBM have an opportunity to make it look like a partisan witch hunt, and the focus will shift from Pelosi’s lies to “desperate” Republicans trying to defend the “indefensible” GWB administration, who - as everyone knows - are worse than the terrorists.

If it works, Pelosi stays and the Dems get by with their lies. If it doesn’t work, Pelosi gets the blame and the boot, and the Dems get by with their lies.

That is unless Republicans decide to stand up for this country and speak truth with the same boldness as Dick Cheney instead of letting the DBM get by with reporting that they want Cheney to “shut up”.

"She is a trivial politician, viciously using partisanship for the narrowist of purposes, and she dishonors the Congress by her behavior."

That is the most apt description of Pelosi I have ever heard.

It’s almost like Mark Knopfler wrote this for Nan...

Now you know what they say about beggars
You can’t complain about the rules
You know what they say about beggars
You know who’s the first to blame his tools
You never gave a damn about who you pick up
And leave lying bleeding on the ground
You screw people over on the way up
Because you thought that you were never coming down

I have a SIMPLE FIX for all those fixated on Newt years-old issues rather than the real matter of hand, our CURRENT lying Speaker of the House....

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is engaging in a “despicable, dishonest and vicious political effort” to withhold what she knew about the CIA’s harsh interrogation techniques, Governor Sarah Palin said Friday.

Sarah Palin says Nancy Pelosi is a ‘trivial politician, viciously using partisanship for the narrowest of purposes.’

Palin said Pelosi “lied to the House” when she earlier claimed that the CIA had never briefed her about the Bush administration’s use of interrogation methods like waterboarding, which is considered torture by the current administration.

“I think that the House has an absolute obligation to open an inquiry, and I hope there will be a resolution to investigate her. And I think this is a big deal. I don’t think the speaker of the House can lie to the country on national security matters,” the Republican leader said in an interview with ABC Radio.
