"Thank you!" an aide called out to signal an end to the session. I wonder what that aide was thinking as Pelosi went back to the lectern and started actually taking questions. Ha!!

She underminded, degraded, insulted, back-stabbed and did everything in her power to destroy President Bush. She wanted him to be investigated. She better be on her knees praying the same thing doesn’t happen to her highness (let them eat cake) Pelosi. God doesn’t sleep.

The fact that WaPo is trashing her tells me the Bozo admin wants to replace Pukeosi as speaker.

I watched the whole thing last night. She BLEW it. She was visibly shaking and stuttering around. Could not find her statement in the pile of papers and generally was knocked off step. The press smells blood so let's hope they follow through. Panetta threw her under the bus also, messing with the CIA is the fatal error in DC.

Zero probably told her not to worry, cuz he was having some photos leaked, and that the press would soon be occupied with them.

One would think with all of her practice she would be more adept at lying!

We’ll see if the sharks smell blood in the water. Personally, I doubt it.

Bob Beckel was at it again this morning warning the Repubs that if Cheney keeps it up, the Bush Administration will be exposed for all it did. What, Bob...keep the country safe??? Geraldo told the Friends that this whole Pelosi scandal is the Repubs’ fault. Gretchen shot back—hey, she started it!

It’s actually not good to get rid of her just yet. It won’t change anything in terms of The House anyway. This acrimony directed at her is being orchestrated by her party to get her out of the leadership position for one reason: it’s Republicans who can use her to their advantage in 2010. The left knows this, and they want her out. At this point she’s good for Conservatives to use as their Whipping Girl.

Will she be giving another press conference today to clarify remarks that needed clarifying from previous press conferences that she scheduled to clarify remarks?
I do hope so!

Rahm is pulling the strings behind this one. Remember, when he was in the House, she was his primary adversary within the party, and she still it. With her out of the way he will have his own person installed as speaker.
