Morality and the Irrationality of an Evolutionary Worldview
by Dr. Georgia Purdom and Dr. Jason Lisle
May 13, 2009
Morality is a very difficult problem for the evolutionary worldview. This is not to say that evolutionists are somehow less moral than biblical creationistsor anyone else. Most evolutionists adhere to a moral code and believe in the concept of right and wrong. But evolutionists have no rational reason for this position. Thus, only creationists have a rational, logical, and consistent reason for morality...

Ping!
Laughable.
Why the vitriol? Did you suddenly realize that you have no rational basis for your moral code?
It doesn’t take an educated idiot to figure out what “morality” means. They just don’t like it. Remember the old saying.....”Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. This just about says it all and it doesn’t make any difference if you are religous or not.
Absurd.
The reason Evolutionists today have any moral sense at all is because the moral code of christian society is still fresh in their subconscious minds.
As it erodes over generations, however, tyrants with no morals at all appear all over the place, and the world falls into darkness. As it is now.
Christianity isn't really all that old, less than 2000 years in fact. The first 300 years of Christianity saw persecution of Christians. The gradual rise of the church saw a decline of the darkness and evil until it's peak. Now the church is in rapid decline and paganism immorality and all it's evil is on the rise.
I´ve been looking for the bit in any of Darwin´s books or writings that tells me to kill anyone who tries to get me to think in a different way but can´t find it. I guess Deuteronomy expounds a morality of sorts although I wouldn´t put it up there with the greats. Rational basis? Riiiight.
Wow! what a stunning example of evolutionary moral decency....
DEUT isn’t Christianity. Duet is largely Mosaic law to govern Jews and Jews only living in the promised land.
Thanks for the ping!
It falls under the category of "survival of the fittest", I would say. Plenty of killing in Darwinism. Killing over food. A campfire, all that caveman fantasy stuff. Clubbing a fellow Neanderthal for his woman etc etc.
So never mind killing over thinking differently in Darwin, You’d see killing just for looking differently, or looking AT someone differently. (And that still goes on today)
Yeah, they do. It's the survival of man. Reciprocal altruism is...you may argue was ...a huge advantage to human beings.
“DEUT isnt Christianity. Duet is largely Mosaic law to govern Jews and Jews only living in the promised land.”
And that makes a difference how exactly?
God gave Moses plenty of discretion to establish law among his people until the Messiah came. As I mentioned, those laws we incumbent on the Jewish people of his tribe in the promised land. They weren't applied to non- Jews outside of the covenant.
learn what the bible says before you atribute things to it.
If you can't grasp that, Then I'm certainly not going to waste my time explaining it to you.
