CHINA, INDIA 'MAY STIR UP REGIONAL WAR': ARMY REPORT
defense india ^ | 5/10/09 | defense india

Posted on 05/10/2009 12:00:59 PM PDT by Flavius

The report, obtained by The Weekend Australian, also makes more hawkish comments about India's military ambitions than Defence has admitted.

A draft copy of an army report, Army's Future Land Operating Concept, due to be finalised in September, warns about China and India's military ambitions.

"China and India's growing military ambitions, matched by growing military spending, have the potential to destabilise the region with their military expansion," the report states.

The defence white paper released last Saturday warned only that China's military modernisation might "give its neighbours cause for concern if not carefully explained".

The different wording in the documents suggests the white paper was toned down for public release to avoid causing offence in Beijing and New Delhi.

The army document is more pessimistic than the white paper about future regional stability, warning of a "real potential" for war between major powers.

"China, and potentially India ... have the potential to challenge US (strategic) dominance within their regions," the report states. "Of particular concern is an increased likelihood for dispute escalation as a result of changes to the perceived balance of power with the real potential for a return to major combat operations involving states."

Looked this up:

Seems there were interesting eye witnesses to explosions in Ohrdruf March 4 1945 And Thuringia October 1944. The soil tests seem to be contradictory as of yet. The Author says he has radio active soil from Ohrdruf and another tests shown nothing. The book came out in 2005 and as of yet I can not find any more tests that have been made.

hitlers bombe

The Germans were converting bombers to drop nukes over London so they must of hand them or were very close to completion.

Both India and China have the same, growing problem likely to push them into war—demographic imbalance. A preference for male children has created tens of millions of men with no chance to ever be married, much less be employed.

The inherent danger of this is immense. If these men do not end up creating immensely bloody civil wars, it will likely only be that they are too busy butchering each other on the battlefield. The two nations will have little choice but to send tens of millions of men to their doom.

We have Pakistan on a leash of sorts due to all the money we bribe them with. Should we trust them? NO.
Should India? Hell NO

Just a thought, how about enriched howitzer shells?
I do not know if it was possible back then?

“It is now believed that the Nazi’s (WWII Germany - not the ones running the US government) used nukes against the Russian Army on the Eastern Front.”

This is a very brown statement. From how far up did you pull it?

Like the US in the 19th Century, India is a democracy, but like the US of that time they have their own Manifest Destiny. Get a copy of it and read it. India feels that they are entitled to the Indian Ocean and all nations that touch it. It is one of the ideological drives behind for her navy to build aircraft carriers. What does that mean for the US presence in Diego Garcia, and for the west coast of Australia???? Will Hindu nationalism wane as India becomes a more developed nation or will it still remain part of her powerful makeup. Chapter is still an open one, but one the US still needs to monitor. Articles concerning this were published during the Cold War (when India was more pro Soviet) in the US Naval Institute journals. The world is no longer bi polar, but five core nations with the capability to be a major power at the end of the this century, they are US, EU, China, India and Russia. Each with their own ambitions and interests.

>>>how exactly do you have a war with nukes

JFK answered that in 1962. His quote about losing control of a nuclear situation: “there is always some bastard who doesn’t get the word”

>>>I remember hearing rumors that a nuclear bomb may have been exploded during the Sino-Soviet border conflict

Supposedly a localized Russian armor probe into China was stopped by a nuclear land mine. Whereupon both sides got serious and resolved the border dispute posthaste.

India and China will NOT use nukes, no matter what in any war in the next 2/3 decades. They both know that they need to build up their economies and drag their millions out of poverty and any nuclear action will harm BOTH their economies, no matter who loses.

AFter 2040 or 2050, a different scenario may emerge, but not now.

Any border war will be a low-scale one called an "operation" or a "skirmish", but no "war" -- legally speaking. Neither side wants to ruin their economic growth.

The Aussies are just having wet dreams of re-assessing themselves as a power in Asia, while in reality they have already lost of the Eastern (Pacific) area to a combination of the US and CHina while in the Indian Ocean, the Indian Navy is superior to the Aussies right now

Not going to happen for another 30 years. I may be off by a decaded, but not anytime closer -- both are sensible enough to realise that a war will mir them in poverty for another century and both desperately want the global status quo to return to 1800 when combined they accounted for 50% of world GDP (right now I guess they account for 5 to 10% only, despite the substantial growth they've had in the past two decades)

And neither is crazy enough to use nukes - the crazies are in the Islamic world, especially the owners of the Islamic nuclear bomb -- Pakistan -- the Pakies nukes will be used against India, Israel and the US.

It is now believed that the Nazi's (WWII Germany - not the ones running the US government) used nukes against the Russian Army on the Eastern Front. Small nukes fired by artillery, that produced much more damage than conventional explosives.

Never heard that before, sounds interesting -- do you have any links, please?

India won't fight the US, neither will China. Not for much of our lifetime (though with the way Barack the Messiah is going, the US may be a third world state in 4 years)

India will go against the US is BArack keeps up his anti-India attacks (telling them to give up their anti-China nukes, attacking their industry and being blatantly pro-Islamic Pakistan and por-Communist China)

I've already posted some. Here is one where you can read Farrell's book as a PDF, for free.

Farrell could be right, or he could be wrong, but he appears to do meticulous research and documents all of his claims with references.

you're right -- they will have 35 to 50 millino surplus men each by the 2020s. however, why wouldn't they use it to colonise "easier" areas? Like for the Chinese, there is Tibet, East Turkestan and Siberia while for India there is the East coast of africa.

The Chinese will also find that the snakes they've been feeding will come back to bite them -- the Pakis and the Taliban will next turn to Xinjiang/East Turkestan/Uighuristan and convert that movement from a search for freedom from Han chinese decimation, into a jihadi battlezone.

The Indian Ocean will be part of India's sphere of influence and they will rigourously protect it from China.

Until the arrival of the great Messiah, India looked on the US as a partner and ally in the Indian Ocean. They may be changing their minds now with BO's moves...

That is bad, BO will lose two allies with his overtures to CHina (India and Japan)

The US really has five competitors/adversaries. They are EU, China, India, Russia and Islam. China, Russia and India have regional aspirations. Islam will attack and destroy us even if we gave them eveything. The EU is very similar. Their heartburn is our live style. In other words the EU will not stop until the US is exactly like them. Unlike the other four which uses visible military and economic pressures, while Islam uses naked terrorism, the EU uses their network of leftwing intellects and the sympathetic US media to do their dirty work. Goal of the EU is to hamstring the US with the same international and big government regs so we atleast will be at their level of economic development. Currently the EU cannot free itself of the constraints of socialism without domestic disturbance and they cannot sit idly by as the US surpasses them. The financial meltdown gave us BO and an opportunity for the EU to impress their socialist constraints on our society thru velvet power.
