Wow! Is the end getting closer and closer?
It would be eminently prudent for all of us to pay close attention on June 4th to a “major speech (by Obama) seeking to strengthen U.S. relations with the Islamic world and fight extremism” according to a White House announcement made on Friday, May 8, 2009.

At the most optimistic, this could mean Obama’s desire to muster the power of “moderate muslims” (though hopefully he has learned not to actually USE that term any more) against the likes of the Taliban. Pakistan’s situation may be a case in point. It actually sounds like something George W. Bush might say.
Our President is, at best, a muslim sympathizer and, at worst, a closet muslim!
Right. A moderate muslim only cuts your head half off.
Sura (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."
Sura (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"
Sura (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."
Tabari 7:97 The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared," Kill any Jew who falls under your power."
Ibn Ishaq: 327 - “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

Did anyone else notice that when he received the presidents of Pakistan and Afganistan in the White House they committed a major breech of protocol and respect to Old Glory? For the first time in my life I saw our flag reduced from its place of honor - to the right of the President as he faces us - and put on his left while the two Muslim flags were place on his right? This is horrible! Worse than his bowing to and kissing the hand of the Saudi king. Who was it that said, “We shall destroy you from within?” Oh,yeah - that was a Russian. QBL is going to use our justice system to destroy us.
Looks like all of them have their feet in the door.

If we are to believe reports, Turkey’s mainstream and the non-Taliban grunts of Pakistan have managed to tone the effect of this rhetoric way down for centuries by philosophizing up various religious niceties that prevent much actual chopping off of infidel heads. Maybe because they actually want peaceful coexistence with same.
If this reported difference is real, we would be fools not to exploit it as far as possible.
Yes, that was a violation of the flag code; the U.S. flag should be on the right of the speaker, not on the left, and certainly no other flag or flags, especially those of other countries, should be on his right.
And we still have another four years of this Kenyan Clown's shameful capers.
That is very troublesome. He didn’t do that for Britain so it’s not like he’s being consistently wrong about it.

That looks like appropriate treatment for foreground and background flags, respectively. Camera depth of field and clipping can deceive.

I saw it on the news - he was standing and our Flag was at this left elbow, a green flag was at his right elbow with another right beside it. At first I though I was seeing things, then I was stunned. I have been waiting for someone to mention it but nobody seemed to even see it.
It was after he met with the two presidents and they had their press conference.
I assure you, if anyone in the White House had half a pea for a brain and they saw that, the photo was yanked and we’ll never see it again.
