Obama Bans the Commonfolk from Normandy

A lot of the difference, the change if you will, between Obama and Bush has much to do with the word humility.

George Bush is and was a humble man. Obama thinks the world counts on him and him alone to lead us. Bush went to church and prayed often. Obama puts out press releases about his supposed piety. The left sold a great bill of goods to the American people claiming that Bush, et al. were arrogant while insisting that Obama was a “man of the people.”

The 65th Anniversary of D-Day is fast approaching. Barack Obama will attend the events on June 6th as George Bush did in 2004 for the sixtieth memorial service. Here is the rub, as of now Obama’s State Department has asked (read demanded) the French government not allow tour guide services to operate that day. It is a big day for Normandy tourism. Yet, the king will not allow those not connected with government to enjoy the day. Obama is very important you know. This is an unprecedented request. I hope the French come to their senses and deny it.

Compare that with 2004. Security was tight as President Bush and other world leaders were in attendance, but the event was still open to all. A friend relayed the story of waiting in line to use a port-a-potty (a French port-a-potty no doubt, yuck, believe me.) She looks to her left and who he is in the next line waiting patiently? President Bush. Sure he had Secret Service nearby, but he waited like everyone else.

This is not a huge surprise. France is close to imploding right now. The communists/socialists are ravenous and people are using terms like "revolution", and they mean it.

No way is Barry going to let the spectacle of demonstrations get beamed around the world or back to his home constituents.

He is such a disgusting POS. I disagreed with a lot that Pres. Bush did, especially domestically, but the regard he held for other humans in was obvious on his face. He may have been a crappy president at times, but the love and care he had for others shone through.

This ONE is a crappy president and in-love with only himself.

It is pathetic that a man who believes the whole damn world loves him has to worry because he knows that his persona is all a grand joke and everyone is out to get him.

The world laughs and reviles him. That is the truth.

People think, “who the hell does this joker think he is?”

Yes, I wish President Bush had done some things differently, but I believe he’s a good man and he loved this country. I miss that.

Sounds like the Magic Kenyan perhaps acknowleges he is not the immortal messiah the media believe him to be.

Could it be that he has come to fear for his life?
Leaning in the direction of over cautious and keep the non Kool-Aid drinkers our of range?

Interesting!

In his teleprompter speech, Barry will take as his own,
like the parasite that he is,
the patriotism and service of his white relatives that served in World War II.
From his great uncle Charlie Payne to his grandfather.
Barry was so well versed in his great uncle’s service that he botched the details during the campaign.
And you have to wonder if he ever met his great uncle before he decided to use him as a campaign prop.
And when Barry inevitably glows and assumes his grandfather’s service-it is worth noting
that during the campaign he completely fabricated his grandfather’s military record.
Which he had to know he was doing, as he wrote about his grandfather’s actual service in Dreams.
And in Dreams, he ran his grandfather down as a lying, racist, dirty and inappropriate joke telling ,” white revisionist “ nasty and untrustworthy manipulator.
But, all that will be forgotten at Normandy, when Barry will virtually don his grandfather’s uniform and speak of Stanley Dunham’s service, as if it were his own.

I don’t think he has to fear for his life considering who would be following ....

The very idea of this man going to Normandy on that sacred day fills me with such revulsion that I can scarcely stand the thought. If the US had adopted his world view in the 1940’s I would be writing these words in German, except that I wouldn’t because I’m Jewish and I wouldn’t be here.

On that day, June 2004, my son-in-law,who was stationed in Germany at that time, was the soldier carrying the American Flag during the ceremony! It’s an honor he, and we, will never forget!!

Obie is part bait-and-switch. But the scary part of him are the parts he promised he would do and that he is actually doing.

In spite of the fact that G. Bush. held hands with Bedouins, expanded the size of the Federal Government and seemed to enjoy the Mexican invasion, I still like the guy. As a person he is likable.
