Alan Keyes among 21 arrested at Notre Dame May 8, 2009 1:29 PM Former Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes and 20 other protesters were arrested this morning when they refused to leave the Notre Dame campus during a protest of President Obama's upcoming commencement address there, a university spokesman said.

Ty Diago it is good stuff..
“Let Keyes debate TOTUS!”
+++++++++
No teleprompters allowed...LOL!
IN people have moved to the dark side too after holding for Dole.
I enjoy the fact that they’re not letting the cops off the hook so easily by refusing to bond out for $250.
Notre Dame should be ashamed of itself for arresting Keyes and other Christians who were protesting ND's decision to honor a pro-abortion scumbag on their campus.
FUND and FUBO.
"I'm sorry, but I think that kind of stuff isn't useful at all. It just turns people off, rather than changing hearts and minds."
Ok. I have you down for preferring to see the real babies covered in blood.
“>>some of them pushing baby carriages with dolls covered in fake blood,<<
That strikes me as non-helpful, at best.”
No problem. I have you down as preferring to see the real babies covered in their own blood.
“Agreed on the fake blood business. Gandhi/MLK style marches and sit-ins have a certain respectful nobility to them...this kind of theatrics makes the proponents look fringy.”
No problem. I have you down as preferring to see the real babies covered in their own blood. No need for any theatrics, only the truth.
Chuckle, it's obvious from your fighting even to be drawn into the ring that you are fearful of an honest fight about this issue.
Merriam Webster, PUBLIC;" of, relating to, or affecting all the people or the whole area of a nation or state."
You obviously want to hide from how M/W defines public.
If you want to continue this discussion, give me the word we should use instead of 'public'.
I don't expect a reply, I know you'll lose this, the FR readers know that you'll lose this, and even you know, although you will be loath to admit it.
Finally things are becoming so very bad that decent people are starting to wake up. I hope there is still time to bring back decency. It will only come through belief in the ability of our LORD to change that which otherwise would be impossible. Hopefully He will continue to extend His mercy to us who have been undeserving and careless for so long.
I agree with your viewpoints, and am against Notre Dame for arresting Alan Keyes and the other Christians because they took a stand against Obama and other pro-abortion types.
I have you down as an offensive nut, don’t contact me again.

I’d argue that tactics like the bloody baby dolls and your response actually have the net effect of hardening pro-abortion sentiment and thus the number of abortions actually performed.
>>Why is the baby carriages with blood non-helpful. That is showing disgust with Notre Dames Administration for inviting an abortion advocate, Obama, to speak at a Catholic college. Catholic doctrine says that doing abortions is breaking Gods law, Thou shall not kill. Good for Alan Keyes. He knows we are not meant to live in this world forever but we are meant to live forever with God. Those who cannot or will not obey Gods law will never make it to eternal bliss with Him. Breaking Gods law is not-helpful.<<
I’d ask what the tactic is intended to accomplish? I think the main thing this will accomplish is is to drive another wedge among those who believe abortion is wrong.
“look fringy”
When you say Look fringy, to whom are you referring?
Are you talking about Liberal Dem’s...are you talking about the skittish undecideds who jump either way depending on which side of the REPUBLOCRAT military political industrial complex does the best job in bufaloing them in any given election year?
So to whom does Alan Keyes look “fringey”?
I’m not criticising you, just need more information. After-all Satan might have accused Eve of being “fringey” and “not like the Gods” had she steadfastly refused to eat of the forbidden fruit!
Now a bunch of folks running around on Pentecost with a flame on their heads, declaring in different languages the King ship of Jesus Christ, had folks split...some believed God, some called them drunkards or in the modern vernacular...”Fringey folks!”
I was referring to whomever purportedly was pushing around baby carriages with dolls and fake blood...I take the message, but I think it just turns people off rather than invites them to understand and explore the underlying morality of the cause. I think if Keyes and company had joined arms, done a candelight vigil, something along those lines, it would have been more powerful. That’s just my opinion.
Ahh, but do you have in mind a class of folks who would be more turned off than usual?
I ask this in all sincerity because the political situation is such that many reasonable folks are starting to be considered more and more “fringey”, especially in light of how DHS guidelines are depicting conservatives. Even quiet non confrontational types who are just trying to live non-controversially and raise their families are being called and depicted as evil and anti society if they happen to hold views such as limited government and traditional morality. Some on the left are seeking to cause flash-points by which they are trying to justify further enslavement by rules and by taking of our arms and liberties. So what is “fringey” and at what point do you and I become “fringey” and subject to imprisonment by the evil left?
My mistake, I posted that to you in haste, and in error.
Id argue that tactics like the bloody baby dolls and your response actually have the net effect of hardening pro-abortion sentiment and thus the number of abortions actually performed.”
In other words, more real blood on babies.
