Could it be the latest sign that Mitt Romney is preparing to run for president again?
Hotline is reporting that Romney is making moves to establish his legal residency in New Hampshire -- site of the first-in-the-nation primary.
The former Massachusetts governor is selling homes in Belmont, Mass., and in Utah, and plans to spend time at his summer home on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the Granite State, notes Hotline, the political blog of the National Journal.

“I’d like it very much if all the primaries were held on the same day.”
All that would do would make the candidate with the most name recognition win and give even more power to the national media to pick our candidate.
No thanks.
Baby steps?
It should be Oklahoma the only total Red State in the last election. :) Plus we send one of the most Conservative delegations to Congress including Senators Inhofe and Coburn. Do believe we have earned the right as Conservatives to be the first in the Nation.
Whatever.
Romney the RINO goes to New Hampshire!
He will manipulate the system every way he can.
He’ll say anything.
He’ll turn a blind eye to fraud (fake police).
He’ll change any position.
He’ll try any dirty trick.
He’ll spread money like manure.
He’ll run as a Transgendered Hispanic Female, if it would get him elected.
And if he wins a primary, he will lose the general election
for us again.
He is exactly what is wrong with the Party.
As long as Romney is running and that is always, I want to keep seeing these articles exposing him for the liberal that he is.
It would be even worse under your scenario. The grass roots would have NO power.
I think it’s time to do things differently.
Kool-Aid Award.
New Hampshire's TV and news market is Boston. They well knew who they were not going to vote for, Mitt.
Your religious hatred and bigotry has led you to post an inaccurate claim, evangelicals love Bobby Jindal and they will vote for him in droves, although the Catholics love Obama I think that they would vote for Jindal also but probably not in as high of percentages as Evangelicals
Here is how the conservative vote shakes out.
I agree it is too early to think about 2012....the scenery will be shifting a lot between now & then. I even think there is a good chance to get a 3rd party in place by 2010 & 1/2. The ‘All American Party’.
He doesn't win (except that once) and he can't get reelected, but this year is his 16th anniversary of running for office, we still don't know what he wants but he is a perennial candidate and not just for any office, he wants to be President.
Put all your energy into Jindal and see how that goes for you. It would be funny if Jindal becomes Mormon and then what would you do?
Also, PEW is like snopes or factcheck. They are the same group who claim there are only 12 million illegals in this country.
Romney's problem is that some conservatives are not willing to give up their insistence on a conservatism test.
Mormon is about all you do isn’t it. You are an odd egg, that trolls threads trying to get into Mormon fights.
Weird stuff.
A significant minority of Evangelicals who can’t put their hatred of these two groups behind their love of country are too big of part of the conservative base to elect anyone with the “wrong” religion.

Golly things must have changed over the years...
I can remember during the Democrat conventiobn in 1992 when Clinton was nominated...
We all sttod aoutside the PO building, arms around each other or holding hands...
singing praise songs to our Lord Jesus Christ, and rallying against abortion together...
Catholics and Protestants together...
I didnt hear one ugly word...
Not then nor at the rally at the Catholic Church one night...
Was that Mitt Romney and his Dad I saw standing with us against abortion ???
As for Jindal and Cantor...
You listed them with Romney...
Do you consider them liberals also ???
One is a Catholic...
One is a Jew...
I didbnt hear you say you planned to vote for them...
You said “a bigot like Huckabee.”
Then you claim that “some conservatives will be willing to give up their insistence on a religious test.”
I didnt see many conservatives being bigoted against Huckabee or Romney...
I did see the mormons in Utah voting 90% for Romney..
But thats OK cause the mormons also voted for Obama in Salt Lake County
and helped elect the first mormon president...
In fact more of the mormons in Utah voted for Obama than we Christians did in TN...
Nope they aint bigots in Utah
;)
