the white house media are too busy standing up for bozo. The excuse when asked on fox to their reporter was. well we have a lot of wires so it is hard to stand up when Bush came in but when bozo came it was a surprise and we stood up. That is the mindset and idiotic thinking going on in side the white house media. The rest of the media are in a cult, they do not even care that they have been insulted to and lied to. Instead they go on their merry way asking how his breakfast was

which is why they don't work as well for rifles. The bullet makes one hell of a snap itself.

My favorits silenced weapon is the grease gun. On full auto, it sounds like a sewing machine, the action is the loudest part.

The precedent has already been established by Gonzales v Raich and Wickard, which Drug Warriors and Poverty Pimps (among many others) depend on for their agenda. Conservatives need to choose between supporting or opposing Wickard. Can't have it both ways:

Where necessary to make a regulation of interstate commerce effective, Congress may regulate even those intrastate activities that do not themselves substantially affect interstate commerce.

-J. Scalia concurring, Gonzales v Raich

_____________________________________

Respondents Diane Monson and Angel Raich use marijuana that has never been bought or sold, that has never crossed state lines, and that has had no demonstrable effect on the national market for marijuana. If Congress can regulate this under the Commerce Clause, then it can regulate virtually anything, and the Federal Government is no longer one of limited and enumerated powers.

J. Thomas dissenting, Gonzales v Raich

I’m with you
and while we have some good gun laws none of them came from this idiot we have now.
He refuses to sign the state rights bill, he won’t even sign a heritage plate . Instead he keeps harping on about how he is for Fl and how he is for everyone .
Well he doesn’t understand that it was mostly republicans who voted for him(not me I went for Gallagher) not Dems

Iwish Mica my rep would be Gov, a good conservative who is very different from the idiot we have now

Might have to make Montana a future destination if Obama screws this country up more than he already has (and we all know he will).

She's on my short list. Oklahoma as well: House bypasses governor’s veto to claim Oklahoma’s sovereignty

Create a Virginia Tech or Columbine in Montana.

I would think if they tried, it wouldn't last long. That was precisely the problem with VA Tech and Columbine. There was no one to put a stop to the shooters.

I simply substituted tomotoes for marijuana.

Actually, Raich simply substituted marijuana for corn. SCOTUS relied on a prior case telling a farmer the corn he raised on his own farm to feed to his own animals was subject to federal regulation.

The difference here is that a complex manufactured item CAN be distinguished from comparable items manufactured elsewhere. One possible acceptable outcome is that federal regulation could be limited to requiring the manufactured items be marked to indicate manufacturer and state, a minimal imposition resolving the "inability to distinguish items manufactured & distributed intrastate from interstate".

Yes, it will be a tough battle. It must be fought, and it must be won, and a growing number of states are getting in on the action on our side.

Because you (nor anyone else) haven’t challenged it in court.

Montana has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the US. An estimated 75% of households own guns. Occupied dwelling burglary is VERY rare in Montana for that reason. Furthermore, open carry is legal in all but a few locations like government buildings, etc. CCW is shall issue, but if you are outside a city limits and going to or coming from “an activity in which personal protection might be required” concealed carry requires no permit. Such activities include hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, boating, farming, ranching, etc.

When a Democrat does something right, we should be the first in line to praise them. So I will do so. (It’s a very rare occurrence.)

This is a great step for individual liberties, states’ rights, and teh Constitution. Let’s hope that Montana doesn’t cave when Firefly decides to put pressure on them.
