Good riddance. It's going to be interesting to see how many Supreme Court nominations Obama gets to make involving the retirement of liberal justices. These will be a wash in the long run.

yeah, so Bambi had to stop in to hear the masses during a White House briefing...HE had to inform the adoring press that HE, the great one, took the time out of HIS busy day to show HIS gratitude over the phone.....but HE deemed it necessary that the world knew how HE was so grateful.....and yes, now it is official the Justice spoke with HIM

He’ll give her a couple of years as a federal judge, then hand her the next opening.

This is exactly why these people need to be treated as enemies instead of fellow countrymen. The core Constitutional values are Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness.

Ann Coulter also referred to Abortion as the other party’s highest sacrament, but I disagree.

It is not so much as the Abortion Party as it is the FREE SEX PARTY .... Instant Gratification is promoted regardless of the consequences ... sex with the same sex, sex with groups, sex with animals, etc, etc.

Abortion is important because it eliminates one of those “consequences” of FREE SEX. Free Condoms to all is also important for the same reason.

Money can also be a form of Instant Gratification, and it helps one to receive sex even if that means the sex isn’t free.

So remember, with the Dims, everything comes down to sex and Instant Gratification. Anybody with any moral fiber is simply written off as ‘foolish’.

While it's not a physical kind of gratification, do not discount the demonic, spiritual gratification that comes from exercising the power of murdering other people with impunity. That's the gratification enjoyed by people like Teddy the Swimmer, John Kerry (who, by the way, served in Vietnam), Stretch Pelosi, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (you think she has, or ever had, some sort of sex life?), and of course, Soetoro and his lovely wife Kong.

The tradition of waiting for a President of one’s own party is so strong that Byron White waited for a Democrat—even though he had to know that the nominee would be a pro-abortion activist. In that case, I thought White’s upholding the tradition was despicable.

He was never a conservative, or a decent person.

He voted, on a hospital board, to perform abortions at the hospital. Long before he was on the USSC.

When Howard Phillips brought this up at the confirmation hearings, and pointed out: 1) that it showed a personal investment in the proposition that abortion is legitimate, and 2) that it showed a bad character, and thus disqualified him for the USSC, Orrin Hatch said it was irrelevant. Hatch said, for the umpty-umpteenth time in his career, that “there are good and decent people on both sides of this issue.”

Of course, Phillips was dead right on both counts, and Hatch was dead wrong on both counts.

And Souter is gay, btw, although I doubt he’s being blackmailed.

Judge Judy is pro-abortion, pro-gay-marriage, etc., etc.

You are right! It actually started back prior to the 2006 elections. If you recall you could not find a talk radio station that did not go on about immigration 24/7. Many Republicans as a result of that basically became Bush bashers, and decided that they where going to hand over the Senate to the Dems. I am not suggesting that it was not a legit issue, I am just saying they went over board! Where is the issue of immigration now? It was not even a issue in the 2008 race.

Yes the Supreme court should have been the issue that trumped evertyhing, it was to yours truly!! It was hardly even a issue in 2008? GW Bush brought us within 1 vote of turning over many evils, Whu in Jesus name did we allow this to happen?

Rev Wright should have been the issue we ran on 24/7 I think as well.

Obama lied to the American people, he said he did not share Rev Wright`s views.

And Rick Warren and his crowd told people that being pro life was only of secondary concern

And his appointments to Transportation and Defense are Republicans”

That doesn't make his appointments to health and the DHS any less loony left, hard core abortionists and anti-American in any way you can think of. The Supreme Cort is exactly the kind of appointment Obunga is gonna appoint the most hard core leftists to. Don't forget he retained Gates at defence so he can try and blame it on Bush if we should get another terrorist attack during his pro-Al Quaeda regime.

Do you really think that Secretary Gates is so inept politically as to allow himself to be used in that way?
Gates could resign and embarrass Obama to the max.

Obama has leftists, centrists and moderates in his cabinet.
I’m betting that he will choose a left of center liberal for his first Supreme Court nomination. It works to his political advantage to keep the controversy to a minimum. The nominee will be pro-choice so that will provide controversy and opposition enough. But time will tell and we’re all just going to have to wait and see who he actually selects.

And Judge Judy would kick Ruthallen Ginsberg’s behind if she got out of line. I’d pay to see that.

Secretary Gates knew exactly why Obama retained him at his post. Obama knew his chances of re-lection would disappear the moment we had another terrorist attack in this country under his watch. He retained Gates precisely so he can point a finger at Bush should something like that occur by saying :”See? this guy was Bush's Defence Secretary too”. Hey Gates like power as much as the next man.
Obama was never going to hand over defense to one of his loony left pals. Health and The Supreme Court are another matter altogether.

So you do believe that Robert Gates is knowingly allowing himself to be used by Obama.
The new Secretary of Health and Human Services was Governor of Kansas, one of the most Republican leaning states in the Union.
She won election to her first term with 52% of the vote and she won reelection with 58% of the vote in a red state. Obviously she’s no doctrinaire leftist.
It will be interesting to see who Obama picks to replace Justice Souter. My money is still on Judge Sonia Sotomayor to help Obama with the Latino vote in 2012 although she’s Puerto Rican and not Mexican.
