Well, actually we escaped with just some rather wicked lightning. The storms that moved through were in a line so it was mainly just some hail and wind.

There was some damage in the Enid area from a Tornado Saturday night. The expo center there sustained some major damage.

There was also damage reported in North Enid as well as Kremlin which is out by Enid.

The weather is calm this morning but more storms are in the forecast for later today.

I have to get outside and do some work soon. We may be in for a rough weather day here. More storms in the forecast for this PM.

At the workshop were I went last week, we had a group dinner on Sunday night with a guest speaker. This guy is a storm chaser. He and his team look for tornadoes. They are scientist trying to learn more about them. I think the history channel did a special on them. It was an interesting talk although pretty technical for me.

I am finally getting heavy rain..and the storm has weakened here below “severe”.
