Well, actually we escaped with just some rather wicked lightning. The storms that moved through were in a line so it was mainly just some hail and wind.

There was some damage in the Enid area from a Tornado Saturday night. The expo center there sustained some major damage.

There was also damage reported in North Enid as well as Kremlin which is out by Enid.

The weather is calm this morning but more storms are in the forecast for later today.

At the workshop were I went last week, we had a group dinner on Sunday night with a guest speaker. This guy is a storm chaser. He and his team look for tornadoes. They are scientist trying to learn more about them. I think the history channel did a special on them. It was an interesting talk although pretty technical for me.
