JERUSALEM Jews who arrived last night to pray at Joseph's Tomb Judaism's third holiest site were stunned to learn the structure had been vandalized, with the headstone smashed in and swastikas painted on the walls.
"Only barbarians could do such things. People who pathologically disgrace such a holy place don't deserve to be called human beings," said Gershon Mesika, head of the Jewish regional council in the West Bank.
Joseph's Tomb is the believed burial place of the biblical patriarch Joseph, the son of Jacob who was sold by his brothers into slavery and later became viceroy of Egypt. Following repeated Palestinian attacks, Israel in October 2000 unilaterally retreated from Joseph's Tomb and, with very few exceptions, banned Jews from returning to the site purportedly for security reasons. The tomb area is now controlled entirely by the Palestinians.
Mesika has been working with the Israel Defense Forces to lead monthly midnight excursions to the tomb in hope of restoring a Jewish presence to the area.

It's under palestinian control, they control the security, not Israel
The phillistines were proto-Greek, not arab.
Regular vikings of the mediterrian. Early mastery of iron smelting, which was one of their great military secrets.
Contemporary accounts from Eqypt of the “sea people” (as they called them) were not particularly flattering, either.
The “palestinians” are just arabs who occupy Judea.
NOT “Phillistines”, Phillistinians.
I call the Jordanian arabs “Phillistinians”
Sure, and you’re right to contextualize. I haven’t read Rothmann’s other works, but he has a co-author on this, and I didn’t find too much to quibble with in this book, in terms of sloppy history or unfair inferences. In some ways, I look at it the way I look at works by Christopher Hitchens. I often disagree with him, but there’s no doubting that he’s an intelligent and provocative commentator. I was thinking about picking up his book on athesim. Anyway, I think this book can be judged on its own merits, and I did find it to be very interesting and illuminating with regard to the Arab-NAZI connection. For instance, I did not know that there were entire Muslim SS units! Worth the read if you ask me.
Thanks for the info! As always, your posts are very interesting!
The difference between the modern Palestinians, Israelis and Lebanese is not particularly striking ~ and actually, there are millions of Italians, Greeks, Turks, Egyptians and Syrians who could easily "pass", if need be, for any of them.
The divisions are cultural, linguistic, religious, and historic.
The Druze are the only group that appears to have substantial exogenous elements.
For most purposes the Arabic speaking populations in the region continue to have several generations to go to overcome the health and other disabilities the 1000 year occupation by the Turks created.
You can look up "mammalian patterning" and "human patterning". If your grandmother was small and half starved, you may also be small and weak. It's a phenomenon under intense study. Arabs definitely show the symptoms. As much as the Arabs might have wished to join the SS, they simply weren't fit for use in a modern military force ~ maybe for guard duty ~ hence the pictures of the fellows lined up marching around.
After this sickening display there should be security around the clock and cameras as well, ones that actually function at night, not just for looks.
They may not have been good soldiers, particulary as compared to the Germans, but they were killers nontheless. Don’t like being allies with Bosnia? Don’t worry, you’re about to be a NATO partner with Albania...
Except for some folks in their 80s we're just about out of WWII SS killers ~
But Arabs as real soldiers? You gotta' be kidding. There are some major health problems throughout the Arabic speaking world.
The disgrace is on us, who allow Palestinians to control Jewish holy sites. What did you expect?
You know, in Lebanon we called the Druze Philistines. Not as an insult or anything, it was just truly thought that they were Philistines or closely related.
Palanimals....do what Palanimals do. They are paleolithic uncivilized primates. Boot them out to Eastern Palestine...Jordan.
...I was in Albania in 2007, trust me, nothing good for the U.S. can come from an alliance there.

This isn't the first time Arabs / Muzzies defiled the Tomb of Joseph. |

“There are some major health problems throughout the Arabic speaking world.”
Yes, primarily mental ones. Too much inbreeding amongst those tribes.
