Schwarzenegger May Return to Big Screen (Terminator IV;After Last Role: Gray Davis II)

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has said that he may return to the big screen with the latest Terminator film, which will be released next month.

The former Hollywood action star, known for his roles in previous Terminator movies, told a webcast interview on Tuesday that he had agreed to be in the new movie as long as he didn't have to perform.

Hollywood studio Warner Bros., which will release Terminator Salvation May 21, is exploring whether it can insert images of Schwarzenegger from the original Terminator movie into the new film starring Christian Bale.

Schwarzenegger told Twitter blogger Bill Bradley on Tuesday that as California's governor he did not have the time to do the movie, but he would be willing to be in the movie through a technological way.

In the new film, a prequel to the original, Schwarzenegger would be in a brief scene in which the main character encounters him as a "future Terminator", according to the governor.

Schwarzenegger, who became California's governor in 2003 after winning a special recall election to oust then-Governor Gray Davis, said he still has not decided what to do after completing his second gubernatorial term in less than two years.

Retire?

He is too old to be an action hero star and let’s face it...is he worth anything as an actor outside of action flicks?

I have one word for you: Junior

Have a nice day

I wish he’d stayed in Hollywood and out of any level of government.

as long as he didn't have to perform

How is this any different from governing California, Arnie?

'he had agreed to be in the new movie as long as he didn't have to perform.'

He sounds like most of the Left Coast no-talents nowadays. Where the hell is The Duke when you need him? Robert Mitchum? John Cassavetes? Richard Widmark? Even Bogie?

They could show a terminator sent back to become governor of California to prepare the way for the machines to take over once he has destroyed it. Truth can be stranger than fiction.

I always considered him to be a two-bit actor, but his performance as a tax-and-spend liberal the past few years is oscar-worthy.

Lol. Arnie won’t be doing any more bodybuilding. Roids screwed him up pretty good and he has some heart issues. I saw him at the Arnold Classic last year and he has shriveled up.

man, arnold is OLD. there’s gonna be a lot of footage that looks like slow motion in that one. i say ‘looks like’ because it will be arnie’s actual speed. :)

There’s Jon Voight, Gary Sinise, Patricia Heaton, Drew Carey, Tom Seleck and Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

The Duke would sh*t himself if he was here today.

Perhaps a voice role but I can’t see a geriatric terminator doing well at the box office.

I think he needs to star in the new epic Forest Gump II.

Storyline is focused on an imbecillic steroid laden body builder who stumbles into a lucrative political career.

He never left his role as “Terminator.”

He just decided that the State Of California would be his target.

Another year of his governorship should just about drive a stake in it so he can pronounce it dead.

He was as bad an actor as he is a Governor...
He was no more than “eye candy” for the ladies, gays and muscle not brains crowd.
