Please take Gt Barrington, MA off the list

1,100 can not be verified - especially in a town of 2,367[2007] No newspaper accounts or taxdayteaparty sign up.

Besides, the town is full of moonbats!

Largest party in Berkshire County MA was Pittsfield - 150

I did, and and I wasn’t alone. (left that is) Was there for an appointment, which I left early to make. I am admittedly not good at crowd estimates though.

OK, sounds reasonable. Again, I’d rather be short a few than claim too many.

I’m still looking too, I can’t find anything - I’m even on WBCR’s website now -they are useless -lol

With Pittsfield at 150 I can’t see Gt Barrington being that high without some sort of info on the net somewhere.

Pittsfield population at over 45,000 and Gt Barrington at just over 2,000 - it doesn’t make sense-that’s 1/2 the pop.

Is it possible they just had it in Gt Barrington because of a nice venue, and maybe there was some entertainment that drew in folks from all around? Sounds like THAT would have made the news.

Correction for Kalispell, MT requested, please. Both spelling and count:

"Between 500 and 1,000 people rallied on Saturday at Depot Park in Kalispell as part of the Flathead Tea Party. The Boston Tea Party is the inspiration for the modern day demonstration and event organizers tell us the rally was a non-partisan and peaceful." -Angela Monroe, KAJ TV

I know, I know. BUT when you take into account Sheffield, Ashley Fall, Egermont, Monterey, Otis, Sandisfield, to name a few, and Canaan and Falls Village area of CT, all easily accessible to it, it is very conceivable. And MA is a funny place, a lot of areas Conservatives keep to themselves and each other and are ignored by press and liberals. Pittsfield I understand is similar to North Hampton in ideology, and not surprising that only 150 showed there, or that folks wouldn't want to drive to it.

HOWEVER, this compilation is looking for substantiated events. Therefore, Great Barrington shouldn't be counted. Just as we know many of the tea parties had people come and go, we don't need to count every single event or person who attended one, in order to get a reasonably good estimate. We know, or at least I do, that the general estimate arrived at by this thread will probably be a bit low, but it will be close

Back at work tracking these Tea Parties down. Here are some more. I have been tackling Texas, but I am sure there are other states that have tea parties that are not on this list. Just Google a few cities in your state with "(city name, state) tea party" and you will probably find it. I am convinced the numbers are still much lower than we think. Can we get to 1,000,000?

Marble Falls, TX - 1,000+ Protesters fill Lakeside Park for Marble Falls Tax Day Tea Party

San Angelo, TX - 2,000+ San Angeloans throw a TEA Party on Tax Day Article says "hundreds" but commenters call them out saying there were 2,000 and 12 protesters -- I'm sure the media would have reported "thousands" if it had been a dhimmirat protest.

San Marcos, TX - 90 Tea party comes to courthouse square

The astorturfers are out in force trying to downplay the numbers. I have seen reports of over 1,000 rallies across the country. 750,000 is a very conservative number based on the success at so many larger cities. And there are still numerous cities and counties just in Texas that had events scheduled where I have been unable to find a confirmed count. Keep digging, don't let the liberals low ball our numbers!
