CONGRATULATIONS! We are now up to ALL 50 states plus D.C., 485 cities, and can document no less than 602,000 and as many as 680,000 patriots took place in the greatest grass roots act of defiance since 1773!
EVERY state in the Union protested Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.
You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Santa Fe, New Mexico had “hundreds” not more specific. Although on the radio, they estimated about 500 or so. People were calling in the local talk show about it!

I was there on vacation! (hard copy of the front page of the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper in front of me) 4/16/09
edition!
Our county had at least three events and the BIG ONE is scheduled for Sunday and at an area where thousands can meet, park and Tea Party!
This is also the start of the annual Traveling Vietnam Wall event in the adjacent acreage of the Wickham Park in Melbourne Florida. That could add huge numbers to the crowd if veterans arrive early for their multi-day event.
Ok, Rome NY
Thank you for all you are doing...I know it is a huge job but I can not tell you how much I appreciate it! I know others do too!
FReeper kristinn started the whole thing by posting the original headcount thread - which has over 850 posts!
We’ve harnessed the immense power of Free Republic, and had literally hundreds of on-site reporters chime in.
The liberal MSM has no chance now! WE report the news!

Hi Grammy,
Hope your computer issues are resolved. Mine were on my laptop, I was using at Mom’s. I am home now and using home computer. Thanks to freepers, I think (crossing fingers) I got the laptop virus resolved.
I lost four days this week, was at Mom’s because she’s been sick (I’ll freepmail you later).
The Jacksboro tea party made it on this list. I also went to another small one in Jellico (12 people, but quality people and I am glad I went).
Did you and Mr. Grammy go to one? I figure you did. Can you believe the number showing up in Nashville? And Memphis, of all places?
I wrote a brief report about the events here for www.voicemagazine.com. Check it out.
You bet, we do overpower the MSM!
I saw Kristinn’s post when it went up. It sure got huge!
I had the privilege of standing shoulder to shoulder with him at my event!
When you get a firm total I hope you send it to Hannity. He is likely to accept it as factual and report the much higher totals than he did yesterday. Send it everywhere, maybe others will report it too.
I bet Jim Robinson would like the traffic during the quarterly fundraiser!
When the traffic on this thread dies down, I’ll post the “final” results and send them to all the talking heads. We’ll get some serious traffic for the Robinsons and wake up the MSM!
Jellico is now on the list.
It’s a lot like the masked ball in “Man In The Iron Mask” with people dressed up with the iron mask in the newer movie 10 or so years ago! It freaked the king right out! Or, even so the “Scarlett Pimpernell” where he left the logo in different places from off his sealing ring! hehehe
You are a brilliant genius.
This is from a good souce. Bud Hedinger the Radio Host in Orlando said the Signing List, which was at BOTH Orlando Rallies March and April. Bud said the signers on 15 April numbered 2000 signatures. That means that there were more people than 2000 at the rally, by maybe twice that number, because some or 50% probably did not sign or had signed the previous list at the Rally in March. My personal GUESS is we had at least 4,000 in front of Orlando City Hall, and possibly up to 5,000 in front of City Hall Orlando. Take NOTE!
I updated the numbers. LOVE your screen name!
KING HENRY: What’s he that wishes so?
My cousin Westmoreland? No, my fair cousin.
If we are mark’d to die, we are enow
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
This day is call’d the feast of Crispian.
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when this day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say, “To-morrow is Saint Crispian.”
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
And say, “These wounds I had on Crispian’s day.”
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he’ll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words,
Harry the King, Bedford, and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb’red.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered,
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Quincy, IL had around 1100 people for their tea party, have pictures to prove it
Thank you! The 2140pst update includes Quincy.
We need more FReepers to chime in. Otherwise, I’m going to have to send the results to the media WITHOUT you!
Don’t you mean 57 states?
Stuart, FL—2000 attendees
Vero Beach—3500 attendees
St Lucie, FL— “more than 500 attendees” —we currently have it at 800

Sorry, that joke was utilized at post 52. {;^)
Thanks, I just included Stuart in the latest update.
