David Frum is apparently illiterate [Vanity]
New Majority ^ | April 16, 2009 | David Frum

Posted on 04/16/2009 9:48:19 PM PDT by AmericaIsScrewed08

I count at least two typos in this brief article by David Frum. In it, he bashes Pat Toomey, pro-lifers, and opponents of the 0bama "stimulus" bill.

David Frum is a genuine conservative, amiright?

Uhm....I think he sped off the tracks quite a while ago. He hasn’t spoken like a Conservative in quite some time.

"The reality: If nominated, Toomey’s prolife views would cost him what remains of traditional Republican support in the Philadelphia suburbs and his anti-stimulus stance would damage him with working-clsas voters elsewhere in the state." - Frum

The reality: if the GOP were remade in Frum's vision it'd reside (politically) somewhere between Caracas and Pyongyang.

Well I highly doubt that he was ever an authentic conservative as he is just another false flag conservative who might make the right noises when requiring their support but will show his true colours when it comes time to get back in line with his insider masters.

If by "genuine conservative" you mean "left of center liberal", then yes, he's a very genuine conservative.

As for Frum's article, I was going to read it, but then I realized it's impossible for me to care less about David Frum or his opinions.

I suppose if you’re defining conservative as “trying to keep the status quo”.

Don't give Frum any hits....maybe he will go away.

Let's put these guys out of business...they have been running political opinion for far too long.

Frum’s idea of promoting conservativism is to help the False Prophet pass socialism.

Frum must be living on another planet. If abortion-on-demand is such a winning issue in Pennsyvania suburbs, perhaps Frum can explain why the LAST successful RAT Senate candidate from Pennsyvania (Bob Casey Jr.) repeatedly claimed to be a pro-life candidate and said he disagreed with his party's platform. (as did his father when the elder Casey was elected Governor in the 80s) Why not run as pro-abortion if it's so much more "popular" in the suburbs? (speaking of which, wasn't the last LOSING Dem Senate in PA, Joel Hoeffel, pro-abortion?) And how the heck did Casey win those gosh darn suburban voters in the first place? Let's see... they voted Santorum (pro-life) 1994, Santorum (pro-life) 2000, Casey (pro-life) 2006. Funny how those abortion-loving suburbanites keep nominating and electing self-proclaimed pro-life Senators, eh Frum?

He also has a story on his site where he says "Oppoose [sic] Obama's Immigration Plans". It's shocking, not only because of the typo, but also because Frum doesn't embrace amnesty.

In fact (sit down), Frum actually makes a very good, coherent and intelligent case why Republicans should NOT accept amnesty of any kind. I must say, I'm disturbed that I agree with Frum on anything. But, his strategy for opposing this unchecked flood of illegal immigrants and his "Oppoosition" to amnesty is very well articulated.

I will now be looking for flying giant pigs carrying snowballs from the depths of hell.

Let’s face it, guys. Most real conservatives were neo-conned by Republican elites.

Liberatarians like Ron Paul saw through their fraud very early on. They have a much more coherent frame of reference with which to interpret words and deeds.

He is one angry man who claims to be a republican... I don’t know what he really is — isn’t he Canadian? but he isn’t a conservative and he really dislikes conservatives and all we stand for...

I have pretty much stayed away from his site since he so badly trashed Palin, but if he is coming out strong against Amnesty, I can agree with him on that.

Pro-RINO pablum.

Connecting the dots again points to
...... [drumroll] RINOs, antiPalinites, and ....Mitt Romney.

David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."

David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician.
Let me say for the record: If Romney emerges as the Republican nominee, I will support him without qualm."

David Frum: "Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 Early Show appearance."
