I'm hoping to be able to ascertain an overall national figure of attendance at the tea parties today by asking Freepers to post their crowd estimates on this thread.
I'm also asking that the thread be kept to just the numbers, no photos, etc., but if you want to link back to photos in your crowd estimate that's fine.
Please give the location and number of participants.
I'll go first:
Melbourne, FL - 1000.
We should be eating those first. Not making corn booze. The animals can eat the small ones we don't eat.
BUMP
The total headcount needs to be distributed widely and repeated as often as possible.
LOL. Trust me, I know all about Kansas corn. I grew up on a farm and so did my husband!
Burleson, TX—500 people

Arlington, TX—1,200 people

Expected by organizers, 25-50
Estimated actual attendance, "at least 300"
You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.
Logan, Utah—100-150 people (estimate from pic)

Added, thanks!
Provo, Utah—atleast 100 probably 300-400 and maybe more. Blogger didn’t give and overall crowd estimate total. Just counted the front layer and said their were many more.

The Carson City NV newspaper called it both “thousands” and “an estimated 1500”.
I’d have put it at 2-4000 over the day, more if you count 2-1/2 hours of supportive honking and waving drive-thru “participants.”
I went to a coastal farm in Ventura and gave the farm manager $10 for a cardboard box. I filled it with the tallest asparagus I can pick. The tallest was 2 feet. Mmm. Those farms are measured in sq miles.
I don’t know were to get the figures, but there were parties in Beckley, WV, Charles Town, WV, Wheeling, WV, Parkersburg, WV, and Martinsburg, WV. Somebody help. I know those towns had parties.
I was at the Frederick rally. It looked like there were several hundred people, but it could have gone as high as a thousand. We had a lot of people, in spite of the heavy rain.
