I am a rightwing extremist.
At least thats what the new administration would call me.
In a sweeping nine-page document sent to state and local law-enforcement agencies last week, the federal government sounded the alarm against rightwing extremists, and called on law enforcement to join it in identifying and investigating people who fit a certain profile.
Like veterans.
And gun owners.
And people who believe in the Tenth Amendment.
In something from the Stalin side of Orwell, the new Democrat regime in Washington has identified those who disagree with it as potential threats to the state.
Put another way: The purge has begun.
Here are the specifics. On April 7, the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out an alert to American law enforcement. It identified rightwing extremists as a danger.
It then defined rightwing extremists.
They were people for whom one issue was very important like opposing abortion, or opposing illegal immigration. It was also people who felt that the federal government was too powerful and that states rights should be respected.
Gun owners also came under fire.
A correlation may exist between the potential passage of gun control legislation, Homeland Security warned, and increased hoarding of ammunition, weapons stockpiling, and paramilitary training activities among rightwing extremists.
So, if you believe that the Democrats in Washington may pass laws limiting the availability of guns or ammunition, and you consequently buy guns or ammunition before they make it illegal to do so, you are a rightwing extremist.
Or my neighbor.
Or me.
Because I find that the Democrats profile of a potential threat to national security sounds amazingly like a Republican. And this bulletin sounds amazingly like the Democrats using the power of law enforcement to attack and suppress their political opponents.
The same party that complained when Homeland Security tapped the phone calls of foreign Muslim terrorists is now using Homeland Security to defame and investigate conservative American Republicans.
I cant decide if that is more reminsicent of the Gestapo or the KGB. All I know is that it isnt American.
Especially since it targets veterans.
Another personality type the brown shirts see as potential rightwing extremists combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Thats right. The men and women who volunteered to defend our country in a time of war, the ones who you and I welcome with open arms and parades, the thought police are suspicious of them.
Im not sure what prejudice of the liberal mind it is that makes Democrats mistrust veterans, but its about to elevate the best among us to the watch list.
So Im coming clean.
I want to save the Democrats the trouble of tapping my phone.
I am a veteran who is opposed to abortion and illegal immigration. I drive a four-wheel-drive American-made pick-up truck and it has an NRA sticker in the window. Theres also an American flag and a magnetic Army ribbon and a sticker from a private Christian college.
Im as rightwing extremist as it gets.
And so are most of the people I know.
And its too bad the government has decided that were the enemy. Its too bad the new president and his comrades in the Congress are trying to use the police as their political enforcers.
Speaking of the police, Im surprised they werent included in the profile.
Not one called for the censure of Turban Durbin when he compared our troops to Nazis and Pol Pot. Not one called for the censure of John "they killed innocent civilians in cold blood" al Murthawi. Not one called for anything when Nazi Pelousy and her band of brown shirts toured enemy countries delivering their rat foreign policy initiatives. I can't see where they have grown a pair since then.
I frequently ask the question:
Are there any men left in Washington? Or, are there only cowards?
Hillary Clinton, Sec. of State.
That is a good idea. I think I will do the same. I’ll call every Senator and Rep from KS with, the exception of Dennis Moore, who is a liberal Democrat.
You know it’s kind of funny, these guys like to call us conservitives “Nazis”. While at the same time they want to practice the same activity the Nazis did to their own people in the 1930s.
A quote the other day -
“they can protest all they want, as long as they pay their taxes” attributed to Al Haig, 1984.
Indeed, this is where to hit them.
Do we have the guts to do it?
They are correct and right to be afraid...
we’re a threat to their JOB SECURITY !
THIS IS THE BEST ADVICE.
* (U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
DHS says that this is not an attempt to squash First Amendment Rights for the Right, only hate groups but, do you see any clarification of this point in the above quote? Indeed, read the whole document. Click here for the document's text. There is no attempt to exempt anyone from their broad generalizations.
What will you do?
That would make a great Tea Party sign!
That would make a good sign today...lol!
If there was a thread about this...I missed it!!
I’m having lots of trouble with YouTube right now...am anxious to see what the mobs did to Tancredo.
I REALLY wish that he would step forward and lead the way for all the anti-illegal immigration/anti-amnesty/pro-border security groups.... to gather under one umbrella, one national leader/spokesperson. With so much chatter about Obama’s plans for amnesty, with this report we already see how quickly his “changes” are being made, and we need to do something NOW.
They are all greedy, corrupt, and worthless (Ron Paul is about the only exception). They have betrayed the constitution and deserve far more than a tea party to show our indignation. They deserve to have us descend on them en masse, drag their fannies out into the street, tar and feather them, box up the crap in their offices and dispose of it. Leaving behind only a You're fired note.
Most conservatives think this administration is a threat to security so we’re even.
