Please post what is happening at your tea party here, your location and attendance...and as always, lots of pictures:)
I can report that San Antonio is rockin. Glen was right on, Ted brought tears to my eyes and my friends( all 7thousand at least) had their hopes raised. I had to leave because my back gave out again. My pics appear to be mostly of the crowd and signs( One sign on the top of a building read Vote for me I can’t read! ! it was held by a young kid). Weather here is low 80’s and no clouds. Lots of very happy and patriotic people. When a clown would use his little loud speaker to try and say something stupid, the crowd around him began chanting U S A. I guess he kept moving around. Lots of just good people wanting to finally say what was in their hearts all this time. It’s no obamma or Bush, but the mishandling of our money all these years. I had a flag wrappped around me for a while, but I couldn’t take pics without it touching the ground. One guy next to me helped hold one end ( don’t cha love Americans). Lots of flags and signs...........LOTS
Otrauma.
LOL!
Good one!
Here's the crowd from across the street:
In the crowd:
One of my favorite signs, and some kids in costume:
A pathetic little band of smelly hippies talking quietly amongst themselves:
A very confrontational Obama supporter. In between her profanity, she kept reiterating "We won, you lost. You're the minority!" Her sign said, "Where were the tea parties when Bush started the bailouts?"
Of all times for WBOC not to come in for me.........danged weather. Hopefully they’ll replay at 11, because of course NOW 16 is coming in.

Watch and weep...UNC is a sesspool of libral activism.
If you child goes their, do not contribute any longer to
Anti American liberal brainwashing educators.
Wunnerful, wunnerful! These photos from Waco are great!
I am sure that millions of people attended Tea Parties today.
If just 200 cities had 5,000 each, that = 1,000,000
400 “ “ “ that = 2,000,000
Plus the thousands of little towns with crowds of 200-400.
Take THAT! Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Frank! There is strength in numbers.
And we have just begun to fight!!!
Fantastic thread, this was a GREAT day.
****** “Ill be at the Alamo tonight” ******
We will need a “FULL REPORT”
I just returned from the Corpus Christi gathering of “Right Wing Extremists” it was awesome! Super Turnout, Press (even saw Texas Rangers nodding and clapping)
TT
Thanks for posting the clip from Lisle. I was supposed to go with a friend, but ended up dizzy with vertigo last night and most of today. I hoped to make the later one in Geneva, but couldn’t make that one either. I was really disappointed. I’ve been following along on FR instead.
The rain had stopped but it was damp and soggy. Naturally it was cold and windy overlooking Lake Erie.
Great crowd, great speakers, great singers and a wonderful cross representation of our nation. Saw a number of Paulites/Truthers but they did not give anyone trouble that I witnessed. If ACORN and other commies were there, I did not see or hear them nor were they mentioned by the scores of folks I spoke with.
A youngish vendor selling buttons and small "Don't Tread on Me" flags occasionally shouted NOBAMBA! One middle aged woman turned and made some nasty remark about how that is not what this is about. A number of us shouted back things like "free speech", 1st Amendment rights and if not for him we wouldn't be there. She "moved on".
No WONDER my knees are hurting tonight!
Fantastic time today in Mad-town. My personal highlight was a conversation with an elderly WWII vet on the bus ride back to Milwaukee. What an honor to listen to the wisdom of an American hero! I hope to grow up with half his energy and sensibility! (I'm 57)
Charlotte, NC—at least 2000 there. From 2-4 PM, we left at 3:30. Nice weather. Lots of honking from traffic. At one point the crowd started chanting either ‘get rid of him’ or ‘get rid of them’. The crowd had all sorts— guys in suits, moms with little kids—Charlotte has a lot of bankers and attorneys. Speakers, dogs, flags, little boys hanging in trees, etc, lots of signs, no disruptors. The ingenuity of the signs was amazing—one lady was dressed up like an ATM machine!
Up I-77 to Mooresville, NC—town with lots of Nascar connections, very patriotic people, salt of the earth type of folks. From 4:30 to 7PM—we left at 5:30. We gathered on the corner by the post office. About 150 people but with lots of enthusiasm with flags and signs. Old, young and a lot of middle age types.
Down I-77 to Davidson, NC—a small college town (pop. 10K) with a heavy liberal bent. Indeed, the crowd was only about half Republican (one speaker asked for a show of hands) Again about 150 folks with lots of speakers, flags, etc. This crowd had fewer children and was more affluent but so is the town. We gathered at a restaurant that has a large patio on the lake front. This tea party was put together very late and we did not know about till yesterday.
We are both exhausted but extremely glad we went. There is a boat load of anger out there, lots of simmering anger, almost a polite anger if there is such a thing.
Justifiable anger....the kind that motivates people to right wrongs.
Patriotic anger.
