Levi Johnston's Mom "Begging" Palin Family Not to Keep Tripp From Them (wants meeting with Sarah)
US Magazine ^ | 1 hour ago

Posted on 04/09/2009 10:04:24 AM PDT by lewisglad

part two of his CBS Early Show interview, Levi Johnston - the 19-year-old father of Sarah Palin's grandson - continued to accuse the Palin family of keeping him from spending time alone with his 3-month-old son, Tripp.

Levi's mother, Sherry Johnston, also claimed the family won't let her see her grandson and wants a pow-wow with the Palins to work out a custody arrangement.

In a perfect world, "everything will be reconciled," Sherry said. "[I hope] we can get together, if for no other reason, [than] for Tripp. He deserves to know both grandmas and grandpas, and aunts and uncles. And mom and dad."

"I had a really rough summer," added Sherry, who faces six felony counts of possessing and selling the prescription painkiller OxyContin.

After her arrest, she said the arrival of her grandson "was what kept me going. Just waiting for him."

Wiping tears from her eyes, she added, "I mean, Bristol and I talked about it a lot. Just like, 'Well, you'll have Tripp soon. And he'll be there for you.'"

"You're still waiting"? Rodriguez asked.

"I'm hoping," Sherry said. "I'm begging."

Levi said that while he talks to Bristol, 18, "every day, every other day," the conversations are "real short."

"You know, I call her to see -- see how my baby's doing," he said. "That kind of thing. But we don't really sit there and talk. Like, 'How are you -- how you been?' I mean, she's real short with me."

Tell Us: Whose side are you on - Levi or Bristol's?

“He’ll be knocking up Britney or Paris Hilton any day now.”

Oh, I hope not. Keep the boy in Alaska.
I can see Sean Penn giving him a part in a movie just to exploit him.

Good God, can these people take it to the Jerry Springer show and have it out there?

“He will most likely end up in some Hollywood movie”

He is just the type to get a role.
As I said in an earlier post, I can see Sean Penn giving him a role in a movie just to exploit him.
I say keep his family away from Tripp.

I was on the treadmill for 40 minutes at the gym this morning right between the CNN and MSNBC monitors. This story got huge play, with nasty ugly sneering supercilious female newsreaders curling their lips and smearing the Palin family over this alleged story.

And it was Barak this, Barak that for 40 minutes, never a letup and never a picture or a word about his bowing down to the Saudi king. I was LIVID with RAGE.

Gotta tell you, if I had that much positive rather than negative energy, I’d go make a million bucks tomorrow.

I wouldn’t want my baby alone with Levi’s family.

“Kind of hard to be on his side, what with the way he’s shooting his mouth off and all.”

And, he should have been charged with rape.
The laws in Alaska must be different than the mainland.

This kid and his family are bad to the bone.

Grandma Johnson needs the Palin influence to keep her out of jail and/or pardon her.

People need to face the fact that Bristol picked the wrong guy to father her baby. He's total trash.

God Bless Sarah Palin-— I guess the MSM accomplished the goal of making her too ‘radioactive’ for 2012. She will survive it and overcome their vicious attacks!

If the kid’s grandmother were not Sarah Palin, the MSM would be all for keeping the baby away from OxyMomMom, but the rules are different for the Palin family.

tell blue jeans boy to do the right thing and stop pandering to the MSM.

It sounds like Grandma is doing the same thing.

He should have equal custody. Period.
You can bet your ass the Palins would or will be making him pay child support.
He should sue Bristol if they refuse equal custody.

Yeppers.

This is where the rubber meets the road, for anyone espousing "family values".

Anyone who talks about the importance of families will surely not want this father excluded from this child.

Fathers either are critical to the moral and social development of children or they are not.

Which is it going to be?

Father are entitled to see their children, regardless of the political aspirations of the child's grandmother, or how much the father's actions may hurt those aspirations.

This guy may be an idiot, but Briston Palin hand picked him to be the father, and she is stuck with her decision and him for the next 18-21 years.

As I've told my kids more times than I can count: If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.

I agree with you. The baby should not be around Levis mom if she’s on drugs.

There could also be a security issue here as well. Being that grandma is the Governor, the whole family probably is at risk of being harmed by some leftist kook with an agenda.
I imagine that’s part of the being “alone” thing. The kid needs security from kooks and paparazzi media as well.

I don’t know if I agree with “father’s rights” in a case where the men don’t marry the baby’s mother. It seems backwards and not right. I know that legally these deadbeat dads have “rights,” but somehow, I think it is wrong. It’s not right that we live in a world where people feel no shame about not doing the right thing, yet they are the first ones to show up in court when their rights have been denied. It’s backwards. I am sure that if Levi was determined to do the right thing he and Bristol would be married. Levi is the result of bad parenting, that’s why he is acting like a bum.

Well that just great, and not only replying to you niner. The terms “child support” and “supervised visitation” can only be applied as a result of court action (and the resulting public recored)

He wanted to marry Bristol. She said no and kicked HIM to the curb.
His rights should not suffer because she refused to marry him.
You can bet her rights are not diminished by refusing marriage.

You know, Mrs. Johnson, if this were all that important to you, maybe that should have gone into your family’s thought process before you let your son go on national television and call his ex-girlfriend’s mom a liar. Or for that matter, before you went into the freelance pharmaceuticals business. As it is, Bristol Palin’s breaking your son off, as regrettable as I thought it was at first, is starting to look smarter every minute.

Have a nice life.

He reminds me of Kevin Federline.

You do realize the courts gave custody of Britney and Kevin Federline's children to Fed- Boy because the judge found him "the more responsible" of the two.

Not a real good comparsion.
