part two of his CBS Early Show interview, Levi Johnston - the 19-year-old father of Sarah Palin's grandson - continued to accuse the Palin family of keeping him from spending time alone with his 3-month-old son, Tripp.
Levi's mother, Sherry Johnston, also claimed the family won't let her see her grandson and wants a pow-wow with the Palins to work out a custody arrangement.
In a perfect world, "everything will be reconciled," Sherry said. "[I hope] we can get together, if for no other reason, [than] for Tripp. He deserves to know both grandmas and grandpas, and aunts and uncles. And mom and dad."
"I had a really rough summer," added Sherry, who faces six felony counts of possessing and selling the prescription painkiller OxyContin.
After her arrest, she said the arrival of her grandson "was what kept me going. Just waiting for him."

Wiping tears from her eyes, she added, "I mean, Bristol and I talked about it a lot. Just like, 'Well, you'll have Tripp soon. And he'll be there for you.'"
"You're still waiting"? Rodriguez asked.
"I'm hoping," Sherry said. "I'm begging."

Levi said that while he talks to Bristol, 18, "every day, every other day," the conversations are "real short."
"You know, I call her to see -- see how my baby's doing," he said. "That kind of thing. But we don't really sit there and talk. Like, 'How are you -- how you been?' I mean, she's real short with me."
Tell Us: Whose side are you on - Levi or Bristol's?
He should have equal custody. Period.
You can bet your ass the Palins would or will be making him pay child support.
He should sue Bristol if they refuse equal custody.

I thought I read something about him losing his job at an oil dereck due to not having his Hs diploma. No job no support - no support no visitations. Futher, if mom is the pusher, then why would anyone let her near the baby.

This issue is bigger than Levi and Bristol.
This is a “fathers rights” issue.
He should have just as much custody and say in all matters involving his son.
Whether he’s a bum or a sad sack has nothing to do with it.
Neither does his mothers problems.
She wants to see the child ALONE? With 6 felony drug counts on her head? Not in this lifetime.

One day the baby will grow up and see for himself what trash half his family is. Then we’ll see who he visits at Christmas.
It is all about—entirely—the cultural Left's (which most definitely includes the mainstream media) axe to grind with Governor Palin. They hate her, hate what she stands for, hate her supporters. They want to destroy her so she will never convince more folks to support her.

I wouldn't let her or any of her family near my grandchild without strict supervision.
As long as he’s not a danger to the kids well being, his and all fathers rights need to be protected.
All you men out here, imagine if it were YOUR kid that was being denied to YOU, for no legitimate reason.
As I said before, is the guy a jerk? Probably.
Being a jerk is not grounds to deny him visitation.
