I don’t know if I agree with “father’s rights” in a case where the men don’t marry the baby’s mother. It seems backwards and not right. I know that legally these deadbeat dads have “rights,” but somehow, I think it is wrong. It’s not right that we live in a world where people feel no shame about not doing the right thing, yet they are the first ones to show up in court when their rights have been denied. It’s backwards. I am sure that if Levi was determined to do the right thing he and Bristol would be married. Levi is the result of bad parenting, that’s why he is acting like a bum.
He wanted to marry Bristol. She said no and kicked HIM to the curb.
His rights should not suffer because she refused to marry him.
You can bet her rights are not diminished by refusing marriage.
