CNN.com Poll: Should Michelle Obama Run For President in 2020? By Matthew Balan Created 2009-04-06 17:50
CNN.com Graphic | NewsBusters.orgIt appears that CNNs Michelle mania has reached a new level. After referring to the Obamas as the royal family of the United States on April 1 [0], the network conducted a web quick vote on Monday on whether the first lady should run for her husbands position in 2020.
The results, however, did not bode well for mighty Michelle, as one guest on CNN labeled Mrs. Obama [0]. Before the poll was taken down, 83% were opposed to the idea, while 17% were in favor. As the graphic states plainly, it is not a scientific poll.
As much as this Michelle mania is apparently running rampant abroad, as the network would lead you to believe from these reports, these results may mean that Americas unofficial royalty [0] have some obstacles to overcome before any political dynasty could become a reality.
she’d be the first real black president
If US Magazine, OK! and People Weekly count as intellectual political minds, go for it, Michelle.
ML/NJ
Sure, by all means.
I think she’ll make a fine Senator from NY. After all, they’ll elect anyone.
I find Michelle off-putting, especially because of her membership in Rev Wright’s hate-filled congregation. However, I also wonder about her life with Zero. We’re treated to public hand-holding, romantic dinners and fist bumps to make us think they’re some kind of romantic ideal as a couple. It’s hard for me to reconcile that with his egotistical self absorption. Narcissists can’t be easy to live with. It seems to me that he’d suck the oxygen out of the room with his demands for attention and adulation. Her life with him may be far different than the media would have us believe. I don’t envy her.
Oh and we get the privilege of paying for her lifestyle!
Have you looked at the photos of the Sarkozy couple? One can plainly see that there is love between them. No one has to tell us that.
