Love it the 0300 Timing and all... Kim Jong Il definately loves to poke U.S. Presidents in the eye... Obama’s non-response is an embarassment for this country...

Well Michele For the first time in my life I am ashamed of my country.

If I were POTUS, I would order an immediate attack on N. Korea’s launch pads.

I have to ask, did the Clinton era sale of technology allow the North Koreans to develop the guidance system of this missile?

Possibly, through Clinton's Chinagate dealings. But I don't know. They did help NK with their nuke program.

NKorea launches rocket, defying world pressure

This satellite image provided by DigitalGlobe shows a missile on the launchpad at Musudan-ri, North Korea formally know as Taepo-dong missle launch facility. The image was collected Thursday April 2, 2009. North Korea plans to launch what it says is an experimental communications satellite — perhaps as early as Saturday — from its Musudan-ri facility in the northeastern part of the country.

Hussein is busy trashing GWB and the US overseas....and wondering how to arrest him.

US sovereignty out the window....and making it impossible to ever protect ourselves again.

Wonder if said “satellite” is a dirty bomb headed for US?

Would have hit by now. Plus I doubt their accuracy, even if they've go the range, is sufficient to make a dirty bomb much of a threat to anybody. A real nuke might be a different issue.

I would doubt it. If it were, we’d have known by now. No reports of explosions or debris or sudden loss of communications with any US city.

Well there’s certainly nothing to see on the news channels.

What an utter waste of electrons.

Think I’ll cancel my cable subscription monday.

Totally useless.

SecDef Gates said last week, we are not prepared to respond militarily to the NK launch. It was already decided by Obama and announced, we would not contest the issue.

What a wuss.

I have to ask, did the Clinton era sale of technology allow the North Koreans to develop the guidance system of this missile?

Likely. Prior to getting the ring magnet gyros, the Chinese and Korean missiles would become unstable and crash. Afterward, the Chinese put satellites and "tyconauts" into space. They were handed decades of advancement for a little campaign cash. In return, we have a legitimate concern about nukes falling on our soil. Treasonous bastard (the bent one).

I wonder if there is greater value in collecting the pieces instead of shooting it down.

Man. There is just no major news network coverage of this right now where I am.

That's because the major lamestream media news networks are ignoring it so they don't embarass "The One."
