It means the end of capitalism, and the end of the free market system the end of freedom and liberty and the beginning of communism control of our country and ultimately the end of all of us.

And if your company doesn't want the capital investment, they're going to eventually give it to you anyway, whether you like it or not.

These maniacs need to be stopped somehow before it's too late.

Question: wouldn’t this also apply to private companies who merely take or are involved with government contract work? Why not? Contract work is certainly government “investment” of public funds.

Central planning and government control for all. Communism is here.

Actually this half of wage and price controls, most recently imposed by Richard Nixon.

The price controls are the intended remedy for prices once they begin to wildly inflate.

The controls are being eased in, first on high wages, then on all and then on prices.

Gold and hard assets are the remedy.

Let’s go ahead and follow the logic.

How many sports teams play in expensive playgrounds built by taxpayers? Maybe it’s time we see professional sports payrolls limited by the government, too. I’m sure Peyton Manning would like to see his annual salary limited to a meager 500K. Why not? Except for one year, he’s always under achieved in the playoffs. It’s about time we limited his excessive salary. After all the Indianapolis Capital Improvements Board, a governmental entity which built and operates Lucas Oil Stadium and Conseco Fieldhouse, at a loss I might add, should get a return on its investment in such an underperforming player.

Where else can we go with this?

My God, what have we done?
I'm looking at the John Adams DVD series on my desk right now, (returned to me from a co-worker who borrowed it) and I am wondering how much we have destroyed everything they struggled for, died for. Granted politicians and activist judges have whittled away at the constitution over the decades, but in the last few months it is being smashed to pieces. And except for us few patriots left, know one seems to care.

Ah. They'll pass it. The companies where they have control will founder, list, and sink. Solution?

Eliminate, or tax-to-death, the successful, efficient competition in the free-sector....

CommieEcon 101.

I think it’s time to move to China, so my family can live in a free country with a capitalist economy.

[/s - or am I?]

The next pres is going to have to issue a slew of executive orders to undo what Ze-ro is screwing up.

Congress has a lot of nerve naming it this. They wouldn’t know “workplace performance” if it bit them on their collective asses.

Government employees including Congress are paid w/ taxpayer money. Therefore they should fall under the salary/performance cap.

For every percent of the deficit in the yearly budget, the Congressman’s salary is cut by the same percentage.
Caps on extra curricular earnings also.
