Though clearly illegal in the states in most instances, a lot of Mexicans have more firepower in terms of military weapons than we can only dream of owning here.Clearly written by someone who is unfamiliar with Texas.

Be sure to see this related article:
Hizbullah, Mexican drug cartels working together
Hizbullah relies on the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels, said Michael Braun, former administrator and chief of operations at the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

By the way, the Full Auto Ban Amendment to the 1986 Firearms Owners Protection Act never REALLY passed! It was just on a voice vote, and the Nays WAY outweighed the Yeas on the Amendments adoption ballot! I heard it! Tip ONeal just PROCLAIMED that it passed, to the GASPS of many in attendence, and the minority Repubs could not challenge him because of the parlimentary rules in effect at the time! HONEST! History!

“...building an AK 47 factory in Venezuela...”
Yeah, nothing like owning the factory to enable one to turn out sterile weapons by the container-ship load.

A lot of you may be too young to remember this (I am as well, but I learnt it in skool) but Texans already whooped the Mexicans once, if we have to we’ll do it again. Remember the Alamo, we do.

You mean the drug cartels might be smuggling both drugs AND weapons? I am shocked! Just shocked!

Brown, Holder, Obama, Soros, Sardosky are all Globalists and they want US overrun by our own Mandarins as they know the only force that can stop the NWO is the US.
Mexico needs to be cut off at the knees, but GWB was too involved in Globalism himself...

There is hardly a 3rd wold country out there that can't get you all the AK’s you want for 1/3 of the cost in America. Just think if you were Poland with financial problems and you knew a way to sell some surplus military to Mexico. you could buy new from China( or make it yourself), and sell surplus for the same price or more. I wouldn't doubt you could pick up some tanks and a MIG or 2 if you have the bucks. You won't get that from Arizona.

I don't know how much they go for in Somalia or any other third world Muslim country, but if you want to buy a semi-auto Kalishnikov here in the states, be prepared to pony up two large. The media/government spin does not pass even modest scrutiny. We are to believe that Mexican gangs come to U.S. gun stores, pay the retail price, say, $500 for a semi-auto AK or $1200 on up for an AR-15, smuggle thousands of these weapons to Mexico, and then convert many of them to full-auto. And somehow they are also getting illegal grenades and RPGs from American gun stores.
Obviously there is an occassional strawman purchase, where someone buys a gun and sells it to someone who smuggles it to Mexico, but this is not what is arming the drug cartels with many thousands of guns. And why would a drug cartel pay the inflated retail price for a semi-auto American AK when they can get huge quantities, very cheaply, of real, full-auto AK rifles? The government and the mass media are telling blatant lies to the American people. The real gun problem, north of the border, is not American guns being smuggled into Mexico, it is Mexican gangs who illegally come to America, bringing their illegal guns with them.

Full auto AK47 cost around $250 in Somalia.
To: LeoWindhorse
There is at least one major arms manufacturer (Imbel) in Brazil and I’d be shocked to hear of any reason why they wouldn’t be able to sell into Mexico.

I don’t believe a single shred about these weapons coming from the US, not that there isn’t some but not the fully auto stuff, its all political propaganda tools to support misguided agencies that are under an illegal presidents wet dream.
I wish it was possible to BUY BACK these guns from Mexico, thats right, allow Americans to cross the border, buy anything they want and come back home.
Or just do it and don’t say a word.

I saw it several times on national TV news footage, but I no longer remember which network it was. SOMEBODY has the original film, though. That “Amendment” is a HOAX on America.
