Glenn just announced on the radio that he plans to take his radio and TV show live to a (currently undecided) Tea Party this April 15th!
Yep, and that's why as many of us as possible need to show up and make the numbers.
This has been brewing for me for quite a while; but, this thing about him being upset because he saw a couple of "anti-Obama" signs is it.
Hey, Glenn, the reason there are "anti-Obama" signs at these rallies is because he is the guy at the head of the parade taking us over this cliff! Dufus!
Sorry, but you want to know why the Pubbies are where they are today? Because they decided that they would try to "play nice" with the opposition, compromise with the opposition. Well, you cannot do that, because the Left never compromises. The Left NEVER plays nice. Glenn Beck seems to have fallen for the same fallacious thinking, that by talking resonably with these people, we can come to an agreement. You CAN'T! They do not back down --- ever!
I have been thinking that the Left has been slowly eroding our foundation for years, like a slow drip that eventually eats enough of it away to cause the entire thing to collapse. Since the election of Obama, I feel that it has gone from a slow drip to someone placing me on a luge, and sending me down the icy track. There are no brakes, and I have no ability to steer.
Just before the election, my husband had a dream (more of a nightmare) in which he was sitting helpless with the realization that the government could take everything he had, and they were going to do just that. He woke up feeling very depressed about our future.
No, but both parties and administrations are culpible in spending this country into oblivion.

Indeed, Glenn can get whimpy on certain issues, like his unwillingness to even discuss the location of Obama's birth certificate, or fear of a revolution because "it will be like the French Revolution" and not founded in principles like ours.
Glenn even admitted early in the show that he was wrong on Tea Parties happening this early (4/15). So it's a start.
But yes, Obama has turned the drip-drip into an icy lunge, and both he and Congress need to be stopped.
Think of it this way: We already have a circus 24/7 consisting of 545 crooked clowns.
If you really want a circus, we could open the lion cages in their direction. Now that would be fun to watch.
The tea parties should not be about political parties.
They should be about principles.

I couldn’t agree more. I started out liking Beck but he is nearly as arrogant as Obama. I’ll take whatever damn sign and message I please or maybe none at all, Mr. Beck.
You should send what you just wrote to Beck. It is very good and mirrors exactly what a lot of conservative people are thinking!
I agree. I keep wanting them to be more about the Constitution and personal liberty than taxes. The financial end is terrifying, but it is a symptom of a deeper problem. BUT, Obama, Reid and Pelosi currently have point on this one, and no mistake. You can’t ignore them.
Delaware is having a big tea party on that date.
And I am going to it.
I will be at one in CT, not sure which one yet.

Oh great. Let’s turn against Beck, a TV show personality because he isn’t behaving like a partisan Republican. Never mind any good he might be accomplishing with his shows.
