Senate Banking committee Chairman Christopher Dodd told CNNs Dana Bash and Wolf Blitzer Wednesday that he was responsible for adding the bonus loophole into the stimulus package that permitted AIG and other companies that received bailout funds to pay bonuses.

So does this mean that our ObaMaximum Leader did not read the bill he signed? What do the HopeyChangers think of that??!!!??
No harm. I have said worst, unfortunately.
So they now realize that VOTER RAGE is here to stay.
Frankly, I don’t give a hoot what this corrupt traitor has to say. I want to see full prison busses jamming every road in DC.
As we have all known, the dims and Buckwheat are dirty, it’s just beginning to be brought out into the light.. turn up the heat and bring all the bastards down.
Whatever it takes, just so he falls.
Next?
Uh, were the AIG folks who got bonuses also the ones who contributed heavily to Dodd and Obama?
Thanks
Really? Earlier today he denied knowing anything about it and said it wasn’t him.
The buck stops....over there.
Not gonna happen
We can only hope that the last prominent Democrat is thrown under the bus before our country collapses due to an incompetent regime.
Hard to deny it when the cat’s out of the bag
I submitted that very sentiment at the CNN link.
I doubt they will post it though.
I bet there is either video or a paper trail of Dodd's authorship of the amendment, and he realizes its about to go live on the news cycle so he is getting ahead of it trying to diffuse the situation.
So is that supposed to leave OBAMA and his cronies off the HOOK for not even READING the thing that they signed?
Oh thats right Obama was on his Valentines day vacation while he was telling us the country was falling apart around us and we must rush, rush, rush, (don’t listen to rush) to get this excretment past the American people before they get a whiff of what we are about to do.
Damn straight!
“I watched the interview where he admitted he lied yesterday. He was squirming like a worm.”
As he should...I do not understand the left’s willingness to turn a blind eye to this obvious theft...
That's another main question for the Pubbies to ask. It's one thing to say that AIG spread their contributions around (even though it was heavily tilted towards the Dems) but it is beyond belief that Obama says today that this whole issue is symptomatic of a culture of business-as-usual when he got $100,000 in contributions from AIG which again places him second behind Dodd, just like with Fannie Mae, but also again shows that in Obama's brief Senate career he was #2 in dough from both AIG and Fannie vs. twenty years for the likes of Dodd and Frank.
I’m sure there is. I couldn’t figure out why he’d bother to lie about something so easy to prove, but then I remembered he’s a democrat.
LOL! That’s a good song!
