A sitting President of the United States is "organizing a political organization loyal to him, bound by a pledge, outside the government and existing party apparatus. The historical precedents are ominous."
What is so ominous about an organization? Americans, Alexis de Tocqueville famously observed, "constantly form associations.... If it is proposed to inculcate some truth or to foster some feeling by the encouragement of a great example, they form a society."
Certainly, thousands of organizations seek to influence the political debate. There's Newt Gingrich's American Solutions or the left-wing People for the American Way, for instance.
Political parties are another example of an association, of course. Before, during and after political campaigns, the Democrats and Republicans promote their agendas. As legal entities, they have their own constitutions, their rules of business, their chairmen and officers. They have to be accountable to both the government and their members.
But there is a new organization on the political scene -- "Organizing for America," announced by President Barack Obama in late January but officially unfurled last weekend.
Obama describes OFA as a "grass-roots movement" but OFA is a "project" of the Democratic Natrional Committee.
As Politico reported, OFA will take the 10 million person database built up by the Obama campaign "to mobilize support for the president's legislative agenda."

Democrats are the only ones who can stop him. I do not care if it is out of fear of losing the next election or patriotism. Obama must be stopped.

I read an article in the past few days about Obama’s pride in mobilizing thousands of house parties across the country where there was a conference call or some kind of speech from him to the attendees. They added up to millions of people who got the message to tackle congressmen on the passing of whatever Obama wanted at the time.
Now I can’t remember where I read it, but it is proof of what is going on, with this “loyalty to Obama” stuff.
That’s the whole point of this -
to compile a “list” of whom to come after for elimination and re-education later.
Obama must be stopped. He is a commie.

I used to live in Indy,and it was always Just about Evan.....but you know people can change and I hope he has.
He will. His own party is going to stop him.
Now, some say that the Left is filled with self hating Jews, which might be true. However, I’m sure that with Obama’s policies going into effect perhaps a lot are getting skittish about the policies no one thought he would implement and now that he is, self preservation is kicking into high gear and now a lot of politicians are getting word from various rights lobbies and beyond ticked constituents.
This is why the 2nd amendment is so important.
It is very scary but we should not be afraid. We have to fight and defeat socialism and totalitarianism.
Parents ought not to expose their children to this poison in the first place. For anyone with an IQ over 80 who is not already a communist, sending children to government school is an exercise in child abuse. Don’t waste your time vetting the public school books. you can’t do anything about them and if you conscientiously spend the necessary time and effort and resources to counteract the propaganda at home then why are you not using that effort and time to home-school in the first place?
I guess we could sign up, pledge our loyalty and work to destroy them from within.
Democraps won’t impeach Obama. They’d be committing political suicide with the “I’m getting a car and kitchen” crowd.
The Crats are going to lose bigtime in 2010. They can not win with rampant communist policy coming out of the White House. People who have been apathetic and asleep are waking up to the fact they were hoodwinked by the MSM. Nobody wants elecric cars and 500 dollar electric bills. People do not want Black Panther government militias running them over. The Republicans can ride this to huge majority in the congress. If they get a brain.
