President Obama's chief of staff said conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is the de facto leader of the Republican Party, and suggested that Limbaugh's desire for the president's policies to fail is the uniform position of the GOP.
Chief of staff Rahm Emanuel said Limbaugh is the "intellectual force" of the GOP and Republicans now have to live with that choice.
"He is the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party. And he has been up front about what he views, and hasn't stepped back from that, which is he hopes for failure. He said it. And I compliment him for his honesty, but that's their philosophy that is enunciated by Rush Limbaugh. And I think that's the wrong philosophy for America," Emanuel said on CBS' "Face the Nation."
On Saturday, Limbaugh gave an hour-and-a-half speech to cap off the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. Limbaugh said it's fine for Republicans to criticize Obama's plans and Republicans must return to their core philosophies.
He added that Obama's plan won't restore prosperity and that's why he wants it to fail.

Yep. Whatever happened (rhetorical...) to Hillary's "Dissent is Patriotic?" Where are all those bumper stickers? we need to find and deploy them, especially if they quote HER as saying it. :o)

Don’t forget how they went after Rick Santelli, when he spoke the truth of what many of us believe, and they saw the reaction of people “tea parties” everywhere.
Just like the communists, they need to have the truth suppressed, so nobody dares to question their lies and propaganda. Truth, and people knowing the truth, is the worst enemy of Obama’s marxist agenda.

What was Rush's "Operation Chaos" supposed to accomplish? I forgot.
Why in the world does anyone pay attention to what another corrupt Obamatron has to say? The Republican Party is in the shape it’s in today because Pres. Bush did not fight back when attacked for eight years by the evildoers who were focused on insulting him and plotting to seize power.
They are now in charge. The Republicans should wake up from their fantasy of getting along with these cut-throat thugs who have no morals. You dare not make deals with people who have no principles but a lust for power.
Imagine if Bush was still in office and attacking, say, perky Katie. Would there not be a howl-storm of protest from the rest of the media? Somehow we need to show the media the hypocrisy of their stance.
