Vanity post, yes, but I have to wonder about the sound breaks in Bobby Jindal's rebuttal talk tonight and why they were there. I've never seen this before in years of watching these things, and it seemed almost deliberate. Does anybody know which network controlled the pool feed tonight on Jindal's response?
Well, if the Republicans want to auger-in with this guy then so be it. I can’t stop them.
I won’t applaud him as a the Kenyan’s opponent.
He’s a great govenor but the left will eat his heart out and spit it in your eye.
Again, he WILL NOT DEFEAT THE KENYAN.
Did he say something out of line with conservative values or did he not look and sound as “exciting” as Obama or JFK?
It would have been helpful if he had ripped apart Obama’s lies.. Why even bother with a rebuttal if it’s going to be a prepared, apologetic speech given in the style of Mr Rodgers? Jindal is a good man and has great ideas. If he had come out and just said what he was really thinking and in his normal voice, it would have been a winner. He needed to come off looking and sounding like an adult. Our dumbed down country elected the most inexperienced President during the most dangerous time in history.. Right or wrong.. as shallow as it is.. WE NEED STYLE to go along with CONTENT in order TO WIN.
Thanks for your assessment. I wondered if the Jindal we saw last night was the Jindal Louisiannans (?) know.
He was speaking to his audience.
It's too early to be choosing, or rejecting, any candidates, at this point.
I don’t know. I have Time-Warner, and called them about it, and all they said was that it had to be something in Fox’s transmission. It’s not due to the cable company or something wrong with their equipment. They did tell me to let them know if it continues, so I will do that. The cutting in-and-out seemed to get better after Feb. 17, for some reason, but the problem is still there. Sometimes better, sometimes not. It doesn’t happen on any other channel that I’ve noticed, so it’s weird. Yours is the first other complaint I’ve heard about it. It’s been driving us batty:(
After the Republicans last choice I believe it prudent to question their judgement on such matters.
Lest we end up with another puff ball beta like McCain.
