A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.

Taitz told WND she had advised Easterling to obtain legal counsel before making any statements regarding the commander-in-chief, but he insisted on moving forward. His contention is that as an active member of the U.S. military, he is required to follow orders from a sitting president, and he needs – on pain of court-martial – to know that Obama is eligible.

Taitz said other legal cases questioning Obama's eligibility filed by members of the military mostly have included retired officers, and courts several times have ruled they don't have standing to issue their challenge.
Easterling, however, is subject to enemy fire and certainly would have a reason to need to know the legitimacy of his orders, she argued.
"Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office – an impostor," his statement said.
Easterling said he joined the Army at age 40 after working in Iraq as a contractor.
"I chose to work … to support my troops and then left that lucrative position when the Army raised its maximum enlistment age to 40. Upon completion of basic training, I entered Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a 2LT in August 2007. After completing the subsequent basic officer leadership courses, I was assigned to Ft. Knox and shortly thereafter deployed to Balad, Iraq," he wrote.
"I implore all service-members and citizens to contact their senators and representatives and demand that they require Mr. Obama prove his eligibility. Our Constitution and our great nation must not be allowed to be disgraced," he wrote.
Taitz said Easterling is among the plaintiffs she is assembling for a new legal action over Obama's eligibility. Others include a list of state lawmakers who also would be required in their official position to follow orders of the president.
"My conviction is such that I am compelled to join Dr. Orly Taitz's lawsuit, as a plaintiff, against Mr. Obama. As a citizen, it pains me to do this, but as an officer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this action," he said.
Easterling was "saluted" in a forum on Taitz' website.
"Lt. Easterling, As a retired US Army SFC, I salute you sir as a true American patriot and hero! Thank you for your unselfish service to our country. It is rare to find someone today with such moral courage to do the right thing regardless of repercussions," said one contributor.
Said another, "For your voluntary service to our country, we owe you a debt we can never pay."
As WND reported yesterday, U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., said during a meeting with constituents in Cullman County he has never seen proof the new president was born in Hawaii.
"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Shelby said. "You have to be born in America to be president."
Shelby's office later stated the senator is confident of Obama's vetting process, although it did not elaborate.
WND has reported on multiple legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.
Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
Here is a partial listing and status update for some of the cases over Obama's eligibility:
New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed a case on behalf of Charles Kerchner and others alleging Congress didn't properly ascertain that Obama is qualified to hold the office of president.
Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama's original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg's latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied.
Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.
Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut's secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.
Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public's support.
Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama's vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.
Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama's eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama's citizenship. His case was denied.
In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.
In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama's citizenship. The case was denied.
In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama's birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia's secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.
California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters. In addition, other cases cited on the RightSideofLife blog as raising questions about Obama's eligibility include:
In Texas, Darrel Hunter vs. Obama later was dismissed.
In Ohio, Gordon Stamper vs. U.S. later was dismissed.
In Texas, Brockhausen vs. Andrade.
In Washington, L. Charles Cohen vs. Obama.
In Hawaii, Keyes vs. Lingle, dismissed. WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi had gone to both Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

Why is it that someone running for an office is not required to show proof that they meet the eligibility requirements for that office before their name is listed on the ballot?
If folks like Ayers would have been tried for treason and executed the Marxist usurper would not now be in the oval office. All a president has to risk is a little controversy to order charges. This LT should not have to risk the rest of his life.

Someone pointed out on another thread that a court-martial is unlikely in this case . . . mainly because the Obama administration doesn’t have the same control over a military court than a civilian one. They will not want to run the risk of having a military court issue an order for someone to produce the document in question.

Well, the answer is that the states have not required it, specifically, by law. And that being the case (the big “loophole” there...), there are two states (now) putting a law on their books to take care of it. They are Arizona and Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, the bill is still progressing through the legislature. I can’t tell you how it will fare, though, but so far it is still progressing.
Another methodology would be a Federal law for specific documentation (just like those two states) but I think that would be more difficult to achieve than the states, themselves.
This is the only way we will ever get the attention of our elected officiala and the masses- protest!

Freedoms first has recently received permission to hold our protest in Washington DC. Our protest will now be held at the lincoln Memorial Reflections Pool in front of the Lincoln memorial ,on a date that will be released on feb 12 2009.
We find this very interesting because just two weeks earlier Washington told us we could no protest in DC for at least a year and a half . But the day the spendulus bill passes we get a call from Washington inviting us with a choice of dates and locations. Folks we take this as a sign that our country if starting to realise the mistake they have made with putting Obama in office.
We will have live speakers and other entertainment for you.
WE would like to see 1 million supporters attend this protest. It is time to take our country back and make our voices heard.
Why are we protesting ?

Dear Friends,
We are moving forward on our rally in Washington D C. We are working non stop in
preparations for this historical event to be held at the Washington Monument on Sept. 12th
and 13th of this year.
Almost a half a million people have signed up thus far. As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can. To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12&13 were the next available days they had.
The other org resistnet.com which was putting together a march for May 30 didn’t do this so they were refused their permit now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this the absolutely as soon we can.
As you well know, there are Monumental costs for this Monumental event.
We understand that your pockets are not as full as they were last year at this time. There
is little left after we pay our bills that enable us to survive these barren times.
You know what is coming next, The begging part for you to look solely in your hearts for
what we feel may be the most profound and important outcry for real American patriots.
The plans are bigger than you could ever imagine and to successfully pull such a large
event off, we need your presence, we need your help, we need your prayers, we need your
assistance and sadly we must humble ourselves and ask for you to dig down in those almost
empty pockets to help us have a successful rally.
We must get our money into the bank so it can begin to build with interest, so that we can

A tent to store emergency water and other supplies should they be needed. A welcome tent
for you to pic up flyer’s with information of scheduled times for our speakers and
entertainment events and other important information including restaurants and areas of
interest, etc.
3. We are planning to have at least ONE THOUSAND porta potties.
4. Accounting fees and set up fees so we have full disclosure of where all donations go.
5. On hand funds to pay for those things we know we surely will forget and the need to be
able to pick them up quickly without worry of where we are going to get the money from .
6. Newspaper adds and notices about our march, and other publicity costs for this event.
7. Printing costs, signs, etc.
8. We must hire additional security other than the security provided by the park police.
We want this to be safe for you and your family .

The poor guy will be able to demand O’s BC if they do anything legally against him and hopefully thousands of othe soldiers will do the same. The Kenyan needs to provide proof.
Well, nothing matters much anymore. Chief Justice Roberts figures even he does not have standing to require the “one” to furnish squat. Senator Shelby says he has confidence in the vetting process, but no vetter has seen the birth certificate or for that matter cares to see it. We have a vetting process where nobody cares. Ron Paul (that great renowned Constitutional thinker) muttered something like “the consensus is that the “one” was born in Hawaii”. Whoever we appoint to the Supreme Court, will probably “strict construction” some complicated things, but apparently they cannot do the simple things like “ruling the “one” a fraud” until his documents can be examined. We live in a “Twilight Zone”, the twilight of a once great country.
I've asked that very question of the Georgia Secretary of State, who is in charge of elections. I have also asked my state representative to introduce legislation that would require the Sec. of State to personally verify qualifications of Presidential candidates by viewing certified birth data PRIOR to placing their name on the ballot.
I have been ignored by both, but I feel that if just one state enacts such a provision, we can avoid a situation such as we have with the current Usurper - Hussein 0bama.
Don't get me wrong. I admire what you are doing but September 12th and 13th is a long way from now and I just pray that we will still have a country left to rally within and protest when that time comes.
All we need is one state and Obama will have to produce the evidence in 2012 or be out of the race. We’ll know he’s flat-out ineligible if he decides to forego Arizona because he thinks he can win without it, or if he tries to challenge the law in court.
Ballots are controlled by STATES, we must get every state to require documentation, from now on.
Every American has the right to see Zero's original birth certificate & should demand that he produce it!

There will no doubt be legal challenges to it, but this is the one area where I think some sort of requirement could be enforced. States are responsible for their own ballots, even in national elections. Currently they all just accept the major party candidates without question, and if one state changes that then I can see that being the grounds for the legal challenge since the process wouldn't be uniform. But I don't think that the process for putting third party candidates on the ballot is uniform among all the states either. So if they decide to require proof of eligibility then as long as they make all the candidates comply then I think it could very well withstand any challenge made. Let's face it, change isn't going to come from the Democratic congress. Only from the states themselves.
Remember that there could be several reasons for Obama’s stone walling and legal tactics.
The problem could be paternity, not geography.
However, the man promised to be open and honest with us.
On this issue, alone, he has proven himself a liar, no matter what his official documents might say.
This issue also exposes press incompetence, just like the Dan Rather fake documents exposed press bias and incompetence.
This issue is great for “IFF” purposes: Identify Friend or Foe”
If your Republican State legislators don’t have the courage to force documentation at the state level, remind them that this will be an issue when they seek higher office.
Asking questions is our RIGHT as citizens.
Those who want us to shut up do not deserve our loyalty.
People who are posting here congratulating this soldier, do not understand the military hierarchy. The military will never let this get out of hand, because they will make an example of a few and this will stop the mutiny. Any soldier that attempts this will jeopardize their civilian future; therefore, think twice! This is equivalent to falling a grenade. THE SUPREME COURT HAS ALREADY RULED!
Obama has gone to such great lengths to suppress his birth certificate, college records, selective service records, etc. If a person with even a thread of common sense does not realize he is hiding some very damaging information then they must be truly delusional. And I don't mean some insignificant information that might prove to be just an embarrassment. His own campaign released a COLB that has legitimately been challenged as being fake. If Obama is allowed to serve out his term without having to produce this information, then every person in this country has been scammed, except of course the ones who are in on it.
