Does this mean 300 fewer illegals coming across the border? Just asking!!!!
I only buy food products made in the USA!
Bad move on their part.
A recall of Peppermint Patties is in Hershey’s future....
This is the result of protectionist policies choosing sugar beet growers over those who produce candy products.
Thanx for the warning
I wonder, given the subject matter, if the MSM is going to spin this as “those evil, mean corporations”.
Give up candy for Lent......and don’t stop after. Mexico is just one step up from China.
Hhmmm...wonder how they’ll feel about that decision when Mexico becomes a failed state.
Lying bastards closed a another candy plant in Hershey last year, moving it to Mexico, and promised that that was it. Of course, everyone knew they were lying.
This is really kind of sad, I always had a soft spot for Hershey’s. When my children were young, we used to go up 1 or 2 times a year for a weekend at Hershey Park. We always had to stop at Eat and Park for the “sticky buns”. My daughter is now in her 20’s and still talks on occasion about those buns. I hope they don’t move their Hershey operations, that seems like an American icon to me.—JM
Any PA Folks know if they still have the Eat and Parks and those buns? I haven’t been to PA for years.
Hmmm....take a drive into Reading and you'd think you're already in Mexico.
As a former co-worker of mine said, "It's like an Easter pageant city--every weekend, the newspaper has a story about Jesus (Jesús) getting killed!"
No more Hershey’s for me.
So will they import the water used to make it?
They just lost my business....and I love Peppermint Patties!
0bumma’s fault. When you declare war on business, it leaves. We all lose.
Those American workers just won’t work for $1.50 an hour, and times are tight. The CEO still gets his $25 million over 5 years, however.
I don’t have a sweet tooth, per se. I do like ice cream and apple pie.
When I do pick up the occasional chocolate, I don’t look at the price. I think about the quality and taste.
I’d pay the difference for an American made product given the deaths of my countrymen from bad chives.
